I agree with Aparna to an extent..There are loads of not-so-talented actors/actresses in tellyworld with quite hit shows on t.v. People watch them even though they don't excel. Storyline, tracks, direction, promotion, etc has a lot to do with it too. Vishal is not too bad to be honest. He is okay most of the times and many a times has been great too given the right dialogues. He needs to stop stressing on the dialogues and work on his enunciation though..That's a must for him in a show like this one ;)

I guess we are all trying to understand why Vinay's character is so weak and who is responsible for that. Nish suggests that it is Vishal's lack of acting skills that has probably made his character so confusing and not being allowed to develop into a strong hero character. I concur with Nish here. I do believe that Vishal's talents have not progressed as much as we would have liked it to. But that doesn't explain other things.

I agree with Sana and Aparna that there are many actors on telly, who are leads for successful soaps, but who on their own are not hugely talented. Naitik of Yeh Rishta comes to mind... even the fans of that show acknowledge Karan Mehra is not a great actor, but he has been able to hold on to his job. I don't watch the show so don't know what's happening. All I can think is that may be his character is very well-written, and his failings hidden so well that people can't make out the problems.

Whatever it is, Vinay' character requires more emoting than that of Naitik. Whether it is the mistake of writers or lack of effort from Vishal, we as viewers would like to see a good serial do well. We want the best for BVD, so hopefully the CVs will pay attention and sort things out soon.

what was neede to show lunchbox in his hand.it was weired to see that scene.is he is fighting for his brother then cv should show him more strong look rather than giving lunch box in his hand.why always cv his action so cheap😳

@Nish: I understand your P.O.V. Vishal should have improvised. I agree with you. That's why I said that he has a laid back attitude. He surely has talent but his careless attitude is the biggest obstacle. He is a lot better than the current chunk of actors in other serials.

And I don't think that Bindiya's character is flawless. Her character is flawed too. I don't understand how and when she fell in love with the guy who has treated her and her family so badly, how easily she forgave Vinay, how she went against her pati-dev's wishes and participated in the dance. Richa performed well in all cases. Hats off! Award nomination - I wont comment about that - there was no nomination for Yash or Sushil Singh or even PPW. About the "bahon ke darmiyaa" song, frankly speaking I didn't like Richa's performance either ... she looked beautiful but performance wise ... average.

About the couple Vindiya ... IMO A couple will get maximum attention when the courtship starts ... precisely the build up from hatred to love. Unfortunately, here the romantic track ended the very moment it started. It was the shortest track. So, this couple could never win over audience hearts like Icha-Veer or Raghav-Sia or Armaan-Ridhima or Mayank-Nupur....

I agree that the serial has suffered due to Vishal's inconsistent acting, attitude, etc. But one cant ignore the lack of a proper story line. BVD is still watchable because of the likes of Yash, Sushil, Richa, Pujha ... all amazing actors.

I'm not cursing the TRP's. Sorry if I gave that impression. I think every serial has its highs and lows. No one is perfect. But, the channel should have had some faith in the CV's and let them experiment. Why does the channel interfere in the creative process? Why does it have the power to accept or reject scripts? Its like binding the creativity. Is it not the story teller's right to write a story as he wants it? If the TRP's in the start was good, then the story line was reasonably good compared to what followed later. So, new actors or time slot didn't hamper its success. I don't think Vishal is solely responsible for the fall in TRP's. The story development also faltered.

About Vishal, rightly said. I only wish that he comes to this forum and read the opinions written about him and his acting and start making serious amendments concerning his attitude and improve his acting skills.....

@Nisha...chad yaar...agree that vinay char did not help the actor and his cause and in turn actor did not help to improve the character..its vice-versa ...😆 and about Richa yes not great at all in that song sequence 👎🏼 but every actor has his/her off days....even Amitabh Bachchan had it in movie like Boom 😆 but its rare, thats the sign of a good actor...its ok to have kheer with less sweetner at times but def not with salt 😉 😆
