There were some scenes that I really liked watching a lot:
1. First off, the mandar scene with Bindiya when she's praying to God about her helping Vinay. What an awesome scene. Richa's such a natural actress and I love it when she gets to showcase her talent in terms of acting in a scene like such. That prayer was indeed a prayer of a helpless wife who wants everything to go smoothly for her hubby. It was sweet of how she begged not to have this secret divulged in front of Vinay that she is helping him out. In all honesty, I am not sure how Vinay's going to react. It will be a HUGE blow to his confidence and ego when he finds out that he didn't get the shop at his own "kabiliat" as he puts it but rather it was his wife's winnings that got him the shop. So it can surely backfire for Bindiya. But Bindiya is justified in helping Vinay because no matter what, we don't want our loved ones to suffer when we can lend a helping hand to them. And in this case, we have already established how smitten Bindiya is with Vinay and how much in love she is with him.
2. In a perfect world, Vinay would see the honesty and the love behind Bindiya's intentions. If he claims to love her so much, he should be able to understand her motives as well. But in "BVD World", this ain't happening so he is going to be further mad at her. I wonder if PPW becomes a reason of this secret coming out in front of Vinay. What a twist that would be now..*lol* Anyhow, Vinay should realize again that in a perfect world, every individual seeks help to sustain in his life. Be it a push, a lucky opportunity, a reference, a helping hand, a loan, etc etc.. The number of self-made people is quite low in our society and even then, somebody was there encouraging them to take a risk in life and be what they are today. So the moral of the story is that we are social animals and we do rely on one another to progress further in life. So a hubby depending on his wife's help is really not that much of a big deal. However, the way Vinay's character has been distorted to show how egoistic, pessimistic and conservative he's in his thoughts, he is definitely not going to understand this great, yet simple philosophy of life.
3. I again admired Richa in the scene where she feebly mutters "Dhanevaad" to Vinay as he gives her the saree. I was so focused on her acting and her voice tones there that I didn't even notice Vinay's existence. Truly a fabulous performance there.. The same shy, introvert and reserved Bindiya is getting back now to us as she were when the show started. I kinda like her this way as her best acting does come out in such scenes.
4. Thank God that TB got some dialogues today.. I really admire the way she encouraged Bindiya in her days of turmoil back in the day. So I really want Bindiya to return the favor somehow. Hope she can become her strength in such trying times. Poor Raja is not a bad fellow. So him getting framed for either this or for Pappu Singh's murder is going to be the final blow in terms of the families splitting apart and a possible leap.
5. Leap reminds me of just how desperate I am to see Bindiya relying on her education to land a job and make a niche for herself. Separation is eminent for VinDiya (there's a word that I haven't used in a while) but with separation, there are hopes for a better future for them as well.
6. I also admired how SP stood in favor of Raja. I was quite taken aback actually. He did the right thing there.
As far as Vishal is concerned, he is performing decently. And others.. well let's just leave them for now as the track is not focusing on them.
Btw, I agree with Nisha that they should have shown a slow progress of VinDiya's relationship back in April when they jumped guns and showed the Shandar Shukarvar. Seriously ... A HUGE BLUNDER that episode and that track was!!! But what's done is done... So I hope they get their ducks in row now and proceed cautiously as the show's TRPs are dwindling day by day... *sighs*
I adore this show. This show has brought me closer to y'all. Given me friends for life.. Have introduced me to Richa and Pujha and some of the awesome talent ever in the form of not-so-known actors. I'd hate to see it vanish in thin air in the name of TRPs. So creatives.. A plea to u.. Please.. For the sake of ur own jobs... Stop experimenting and start listening in to what the audience truly wants from the show. Show us that Vinay can emerge as a victorious character and can become better after his separation from Bindiya. Show us that Bindiya is capable of living on her own away from Vinay for a while.. and then. show us their union in a typical BVD manner (sans Shandaar Shukarvar) with the signature BVD score to win us all :D
Cheers,
Sana~
