@ Nish: Vishal's dimples were in the way of his acting on Friday towards the last end for sure. Be it saying sorry by holding your ears or then the song in itself. Honestly, I just couldn't take my eyes off from Richa during the song as I think she was great in it. But do I see the character of "Bindiya" getting romanced like this at such a fast pace and then in filmy style like this? Heck No!!
My issue is that had the creatives not led me to believe that Bindiya do have a mind of her own and will resist Vinay's advances and will make him grovel for her attention, I'd really not be "this" disappointed in the character. Again, the actress has done a fabulous job. I am strictly talking about how the character of Bindiya was twisted for this Friday episode.
Had they never shown her outbursts at Vinay, be it the rakhi scene or the Kunwar-cinema fiasco or after Vinay's apology or like u mentioned, the whole giving support to Vinay by holding on to him when he got to realize PPW's reality and was shattered, I would not have read too much into it.
Now when I look back at the song sequence again (& trust me, it hasn't been easy in the least...), I feel as if it was quite a cheesy way of showing VinDiya's union together. Yes, I am biased as I never wanted to see it THIS SOON.. But even if I put my bias aside, all such song sequences on a couple's night together in soaps do appear very cheesy & childish to me. It would have been comparatively better had they stuck to their semi-classical beats n stuff as it has always put BVD in its own league.. Anyhow, for me, Richa was great, Vishal was alright, but VinDiya has been compromised big time for me after the Friday's episode.
