@ Nishtha: I don't know why but I feel like giving him the benefit of the doubt here.. We all know how things get blown out of proportion, especially with media reports. Perhaps the context in which he made such a statement was rather vague and blown way out of proportion or perhaps the choice of words was rather poor on his part. But I totally agree with you that as an actor, he needs to be vigilant about the statements that he makes in his interviews. We all know how shallow this statement is anyways. So we don't need to justify how inappropriate the statement is. But I would still like to give him a chance here and assume that perhaps it was a poor selection of words made at an incorrect time. In any case, let's hope that he truly does not feel this way because reality is far different that this 😉.
I started watching the show because of him. The story has intrigued me initially but then it was his entry that made me stick to the show. Gradually, I developed a liking for the character of Bindiya too. While we should not be comparing apples to oranges, I still saw a resemblance of my all-time favorite on-screen couple, Shiv (Iqbal) & Gauri (Pallavi Subhash) in b/w these two. So I really do adore both of them greatly. While Richa seems to carry herself quite well in media (because of her previous exposure in the south industry), Vishal does seem to be a little hesitant there.. Let's hope that his hesitation and shy nature will improve for the best as time goes on 😊.
Anyhow, dammit.. Don't get too worked up over it and just enjoy the present track where we are finally watching Vinay & Bindiya together in the serial after a break of almost a month or more.. *phew*
