@cimba, @ambodidi - i am cutting and pasting one of older posts... i am having a rant ...😳
from older post.,..
I must admit, I was gutted for Bindiya. At one point I was very tearful and my hubby got irritated that I watch such stuff, But the point is these things happen in reality!
I watch these serials because, I want these women to get brave and stand up for themselves and then have some happiness in life. It might not be happening in reality but I live in eternal hope. I keep waiting for the female protagonist to get poetic justice in the end...
Jaane kya baat hui - Aradhana's victory was so watered down, it didnt feel like one at all
Sujata - couldn't even figure out if she had a victory
Waqt bataayega....- they changed it to horror and totally lost the plot...
Uttaran - Ichha is goiing to end up as a doormat i feel....
then TRPs will eventually go down, channel will want to axe the serial and after glorifying pain and suffering for months/years, the happy and good bits will be dealt with and closed off in one week or maybe a day (Jaane kyka baat hui...)
sorry for the rant, started somewhere and ended up somewhere...:-)

rgattu, It is not only you who feels that way ,but it is serial world trying portray SATI SAVITRI of the women on the screen to get old ladies (grand ma,nanitype) viewers to watch this crap. What happens is that they show so much of pain and suffering that it looks unreal and we all with some what of a common sense will stop watching it at one point.

ambodidi, I think giving Bindiya ill treatment and lods of house work is peanuts compare to putting a gun to Vinay's head. There is no comparison that by far no matter what anyone says that Vinay's situation was far worst. Sweety ,this does not hapen in the modern world. None of us would take the abuse without even yelling back at them. It is hard to live in the bad relationships ,but lots of people do it. Sad but true. I wish i can make people understand that life is short ,enjoy every moment of it. live let live.

I think Bindia is taking the crap because she very well knows that it was her family''s fault.
Her marriage process has not been normal process thus she and her inlaws were not prepared for it. In such situations right reaction takes a little time and for Bindia it will take more time as she is standing alone designated as the culprit by the opposing party.
Seconly she is new to the household, in new situations it is not easy to control events even ina smooth course.
In yesterdays episode her presence at the morning prayer has laid the foundation of the new beginning. Though vinay's approach was as usual but still it showed some sort of buildind of dependence on Bindiya which isa part of any husband -wife relationship.

i know we girls get offended when we see a girl being treated like this, but the reason is that neither the girl or the boy is at fault. that's why she can't defend herself because after all it was the girls brother and mother responsible to push them both in an unlikely relationship. yes it gets on to our nerves that how can a girl bare such a treatment....but she's baring this other people's brunt. but with time her character should show some transition lets hope that happens.
