Update:
Uday is stunned to hear that he can not marry Lajwanti for another 90 days and Rekha tells the family that the marriage can take place in the next two days after which they will keep a havan for the happiness of the house. Dadi however is worried and wants the marriage to take place at an auspicious time. Just then the familys pandit arrives and is happy to hear about Uday's marriage – Dadi also asks him to check the horoscopes.
The pandit does and tells them that two days later is an auspicious moment for the wedding. The family is elated and Rekha is upset that her plans have failed.
Guest house…
Lajwanti tells Jaswant not to worry who is concerned about Uday's promise and whether the wedding really will take place in two days time. Just then the phone rings and Ranbir gives him the good news – Jaswant is happy and praises Uday before telling Lajwanti and hurrying away to inform relatives.
Rekha's room…
Rekha is frustrated and Anjana joins her, ranting about what happened but Rekha tells her that this drawback has only made her more stubborn to stop this wedding.
Hotel…
Liza is getting ready and Abhay complains that she's taking to long before flirting with her. Just then the doorbell rings and Uday comes in with sweets, informing them about the wedding and assuring them that soon they will be back in the house. Liza is excited and asks Abhay what she should wear at the wedding – he again reminds her that they may not be able to go.
Liza looks upset and apologises that this is happening because of her. Uday smiles and tells them not to be so serious as they will definitely be able to take part in all the functions after the wedding.
Rekha's room…
Rekha is lost in thought about how far things have progressed but is insistent that she will not let Uday destroy his life. She decides that there's only one way she can stop this marriage and heads downstairs where all the family is assembled. She tells everyone that she has agreed to accept Lajwanti as it will bring peace to the family despite the fact that Lajwanti and Uday are worlds apart.
However she will only let this marriage take place if Ranbir allows Abhay and Liza to marry in the same mandap; after all Liza to them is like Lajwanti to her. Ranbir is furious and leaves after saying that this can never happen.
Does this mean we're heading towards a double wedding!😉
