The scene starts with Kokila, Gaura and Gopi in the bedroom. Gaura shows a red chuniri and marvel as to how she will give it to Kokila's granddaughter. Kokila is puzzled until Gaura explains that she would like to make Meera (although I don't think she actually said that) her grand daughter in law. Kokila and Gopi are elated but at the same time explain to Gaura about Meera. The childhood she spent away from the family, her naivety then, the ten years apart from Gopi and Kokila and her spoilt attitude but explain that she is good at heart.
Gaura at first is deep in thought but then smiles and agrees to the alliance, happy that Meera will be a force to be reckoned with. The two elder women hug. Gopi says that above all they should know Meera's wishes. Kokila agrees. One can't help thinking about Gaura's ulterior motive. She certainly mutters away lots. Gaura rings her grandson asking him to come to Rajkot quickly.
Gopi says that before they tell the family they should ask Ahem's opinion.
With the Shahs, Kinjal learns that Dhawal has rejected the London offer. While she is arguing with him Urmila and Prateek come along. Kinjal tells Dhawal to take the offer citing starting a new life with him. Urmila taunts her that she has lived in her maternal home for ten years and now she wants to be part of the family. Urmila says only she and Prateek will go with Dhawal. The two argue. Kinjal gives Dhawal an ultimatum that either he accepts the offer or she will commit suicide. Urmila scoffs at her. Kinjal bundles them out, locks the door and fashions a noose out of her clothing. She threatens them.
Gopi is with Ahem and tells him about the offer for Meera. He is hesitant and wishes that she finishes her education and is independent first. Gopi explains that Meera can study after marriage and points out that Gaura will treat Meera well. Ahem is still not sure and becomes emotional remembering the dreams they had for Meera. Awww, doting father can't believe his little girl has grown up. Gopi agrees with him and consoles him.
Kinjal is continuing her drama. Not even Prateek's pleas have any affect on her. She has tied the noose around the fan and her neck and is rocking unsteadily on the chair. Telling Dhawal to change his mind she rocks even more. She falls off the chair, the ceiling fan comes away from the ceiling and Kinjal ends in a heap on the floor much to Urmila's glee.
The trekkers are on the road, tired and looking for any vehicle to give them a lift. Vidya thinks she was too hard on the stranger. Her phone rings. Gopi tells Vidya about the alliance and asks her to break it to her gently but point out that nothing is final. Meera does not wish to take the call. Vidya tells Tolu and Molu about the call and they are too scared to tell Meera.
They grab a lift in a truck which was passing and in a roundabout way tell Meera of the marriage offer for her.
Pre cap. A motorcyclist enters MM and causes havoc, sending glasses flying and tea spilt. It turns out to be Meera. She walks up to Gaura and asks if she is still suitable as Gaura's grad daughter in law. Gaura looks on.
