I agree with the points you made. I said before that if Gopi had killed Radha when she was being attacked, that would have been self-defence. The law sentenced her to 14 years in jail. If the law had seen this incident as self-defence, I'm sure she should would not have got a 14 year jail sentence. Constantly using religious connotations to justify this act is difficult for me to grasp. We cannot take the law into our own hands.

Kokila is a hypocrite. She has completely forgotten the way she treated Gopi after Meera's accident. Regarding this incident, she thinks Gopi is right, therefore everyone should think Gopi is right. But when Kokila thinks Gopi is wrong, everyone should think Gopi is wrong.

Btw when you mentioned Gopi holding the trishul, was that in today's episode?

If you're taking about the flashback scene when Gopi came out of the river holding the trishul, the day before some people had submerged an idol of the Goddess Durga into the river and when Gopi fell to the bottom, she woke up, grabbed the trishul from the Goddess Durga and came out of the river.

Thanks for the update Manzz, appreciate it.

From what I see, Kokila did not justify killing someone, but the reason behind it. All four kids, were accusing Gopi of killing Radha, for coming closing to Ahem or wanting to share her life with Ahem, which is completely wrong and Gopi wouldn't have killed Radha if it were about Radha wanting to marry Ahem.

Kokila's point was to make kids understand that what they are thinking is wrong and told the actual reasoning for which she had to take the drastic step. She was not justifying killing, but justifying her intentions, which the kids are not able to understand, if gopi thought about her life with kids and ahem and not think about baby Rashi's life, she wouldn't have lost 10 years of her kids life, but she didn't think about herself but saved little Rashi, for which she is being hated and despised .

Kids needed to know the truth and truth has to be told loud and clear, specially for someone like Meera, Vidya and Ahem, who was still quite knowing all the truth.
