Today's episode opens with Ahem asking Hetal if she would evict Paridi from MM. Hetal stalls his question. Mansi asks Ahem to put the phone on speaker. He does so and asks the question again. Hetal stutters. Jigar takes the phone and tackles Ahem. This is too good. He gives it back to Ahem tenfold. He says that Paridi is his wife and he has some duties towards her, he vowed to be with her through good times and bad. He praises Paridi as to how she did not know the way to be a good wife, daughter in law and mother but has learnt and he is very proud of her. He furthermore tells Ahem that he loves Paridi very much and if she has done anything wrong then she should be given the chance to redeem herself, unlike him who has left Gopi to marry another woman? He is sorry for gopis predicament but will not throw Paridi out and further uses his Ahem's treatment of Gopi against him. Ahem's features show that he has nothing to say.

Mansi instigates Ahem against the Modi family. She call all the family liars, that they planned all this and continues badmouthing the family. He shouts at her. They argue. Mansi says she is fed up and tells him to do what he wants. She does not care anymore.

Paridi is touched how Jigar stood up for her. She hugs him leaving Hetal embarrassed. He teases her that he can act well like her too. Paridi cribs but Hetal praises them. Jigar hopes that his words have some effect on Ahem. Paridi is happy that although Ahem scolded her she knows that Ahem loves Gopi. Mansi stomps in and heads straight to the bedroom.

Mansi cribs to Kinjal and Meera. She says she doesn't understand Ahem. Meera tells Mansi not to give up. Ahem calls Meera and tells her to take care of Mansi. Mansi is not ready to stay. Kinjal instigates Mansi again and says that she should have sent her with proof.

Paridi on phone to Gopi and crowing. Gopi does not feel the same way. Paridi tells her that she should not be so emotional. Paridi gloats that Mansi will go back to Mumbai alone. Mansi is listening and declared that she is not going anywhere.

Mansi then butters Paridi to say that she means that she will be around for dinner. Paridi calls Gopi and cribs about her.

Gopi tells Kokila that she will put bedding on the floor. Ahem comes a reminds Kokila about taking new tablets. He tells Gopi to sleep in the hall but Kokila asks Ahem to set his bed in the room also. He agrees.

Mansi muttering to herself and calls Ahem on the phone. Gopi hears the ringing and tries to wake Ahem. Eventually she answers the phone much to mansi's ire. She asks to speak to Ahem but Gopi tells her that he is sleeping. Mansi believes that Gopi is in Ahem's room. Kokila wakes and they have a brief convo.

Mansi wakes Meera and complains to her. Meera sleepily tells her to go to sleep. Mansi reckons she will fight for Ahem and will give Gopi a lesson she will learn for life.

In her sleep Kokila knocks over her water bottle. Ahem's bedding becomes wet because of it. He wonders how and where he will sleep, sees Gopi sleeping and chooses to go to the hall. He stays back in case Kokila will need him, sits at the bottom of the bed and starts to nod off. He sees an area of Gopi's bedding and lies down there. She turns over in her sleep, facing him. He puts his arm on her, waking her. She is surprised for a moment but does nothing and goes back to sleep.

Pre cap. A woman in the chawl is lambasting Ahem but Gopi comes between her and stops listing his qualities as a son and husband.
