If Ahem has treated Gopi the way he is doing , I would say it is not completely Ahem's fault. Agree Ahem has no right to insult Gopi the way he did but Gopi had no right not to keep away from her husband for 8 years earlier and 10 years later. She went away from Ahem on her own for 8 years . Yes she was blamed by Ahem and Kokila for Meera's drowning. But if Gopi felt that she would not like to live with her husband and other family then she should have never expected to return back and find her rightful place. She should not have prohibited her family be in touch with her for 10 years when she was in Jail. Gopi cannot walk in and out of her marriage as per her wish and still expect her family especially her husband to wait for her to give her her rightful place.

I say that both of them are at fault. Though they love each other, it is not enough. Love is accompanied with understanding, moral support and mutual respect which the couple is lacking. Gopi did the foolish thing by leaving the house on Meera's drowning case but what did Ahem do? He was a mamma's boy and he too blamed her saying that he did not expect this from her. It is only because of her they lost their child. Did he ask her what had happened exactly? Ok Gopi did not tell immediately to ahem or other family members about her second pregnancy but when she wanted to tell Ahem, he did not have time to listen. And about her killing Radha, Ahem did tell her to keep away from Radha but that is not enough. Just by her keeping away from Radha does not solve the problem. Radha problem was extremely critical & she was a terror for the kids. Did Ahem give the top priority of kicking Radha out of their lives? Forget about others, but how can he ignore the fact that Radha had tortured his daughters as well? She insisted Gopi to dance for her child and her leg got swollen. She slapped Meera and stuffed chilli powder inside her mouth. She kidnapped Meera & Vidya and what not did she do. When Ahem had strangled Radha & almost suffocated her, Gopi had stopped him but why didn't Ahem physically stop Gopi from killing Radha? All others were just standing as if they were watching a movie. Ahem should have physically stopped Gopi from killing Radha if it had come to that.

Yes, Gopi cannot leave her family and return as per her whims and fancies. I don't fully support any of them. Both are at fault. They lack understanding.

Once if he tells her to go, that is the end of the story. If she takes him back, she will fall cheap in front of his eyes. She should have self-respect.

A person can forgive for little mistakes every time, but big mistakes like this, no. Two or three times, a person can forgive big mistakes. After the third time, if the other person keeps repeating the same big mistakes, then, people will think he means to do all those things.

Both of them are at fault. Gopi accepts her mistake but Ahem dosen't. That is the difference. Whatever it is, Gopi should move on & whoever she marries, she should not do this to them.

Not so easily. He needs to earn gopis forgiveness instead of gopi forgiving so easily but we know that won't happen because gopi melts so easily when it comes to her ahemji.
