I think Paridi has been evolved to the perceived extremes by the cvs. I'll say this now, we may live abroad and wear western clothes but most of our mannerisms, principles and upbringing can be stricter than that of one who is 'homegrown'. I know this for sure in my case.

I don't think it even matters where you live but it doesn't take much to learn manners since most of it is just common sense. It's better to dress suitable for your surroundings, pari looks like she's going to the beach. Barging into people's houses is definitely a no no even if the doors are open. I remember when I was in India and a neighbour barge into the house passed my dad in a rush just to see if my mum had came ( she was just being nosy to see what the NRI brought lol) and she found me changing my clothes, I was so pissed, she didn't even apologise, there's just no manners where I was in India, everyone thinks they own your house and come and go as they please, there's no privacy what so ever.
