Neither Ahem/Gopi are right, and CVs showed it!

Today, I liked how the CVs showed both Ahem and Gopi as being selfish, and neither of them being the "right" one. 👏 I was afraid the CVs would support Gopi's stance and give the message to viewers that a father's love is secondary to a mother's, but instead, the CVs portrayed both Ahem and Gopi to be selfish parents who think about themselves more than their child, with Vidya slowly backing off looking dejected. That scene was just so powerful and portrayed the pain of their child really well. I hope both come to a realization that a child cannot live with just one parent. It needs both, and they'll just have to compromise if they want Vidya to be truly happy.

Today, both Ahem and Gopi's arguments were completely selfish. The girl who plays Vidya simply stole the show with her expressions. The child actors are doing a wonderful job!

Yes. That seems true. At the end of the day, the CVs have to unite Ahem and Gopi😉 Maligning Ahem too much or making Gopi completely mahaan will not make the cut now because Gopi is being shown as someone who has grown to become strong and independent atleast to a certain extent.

Whether by design or luck, the CVs have kinda maintained the facts that do not completely jeopardize either Ahem or Gopi's future reunion..

For one, Gopi is shown missing her family and husband and worrying for heir safety periodically.
Ahem seemed to be in dilemma until the CVs gave a small glimpse of him having Gopi's photo with him.

Ahem was shown not liking Radha or the marriage proposal. The CVs found a way out by making him agree to Kokila under duress

If they make Ahem a total blackguard, then there is no way he can be reconciled with Gopi in the future. They cannot also make Gopi completely into a doormat letting Ahem take Vidya because she is seen more as a mother now.

So balance, and an eye on the future.. Hmm.. The CVs do have a real reason being on the middle line all the time😆

But is that the mother's decision to make? What about the child's needs and wishes? After all, the mother would not have those kids without the sperm of the father, so it's not like she conceived by herself. In cases of divorce or separation, the court makes the decision who makes the kids and who gets visitation rights. In most cases, kids live with both parents, one week with one parent and one week with another parent. Unless the court receives evidence that one parent is neglecting or abusing the kids, they do get equal right to them. It's not the parent's choice to make, it's the court's.

So I do think it was completely selfish of Gopi to say that she'll keep her kid and Ahem can visit if he wants to. What about Vidya's wishes? Neither of them were thinking about Vidya, they were only thinking about themselves.

it should never be the courts it should be both parents, my hubby knows girls are not going to stay with him as he is in n out of their life hence their is no issue. she was wrong in not informing Ahem about pregnancy n child but in the long run vidya will need her mother not that she doesnt need ahem but courts will generally give to perfer mother over father

The court doesn't get involved in families' lives unless it's divorce. Divorce can be very tricky because just as the mother wants her children, so does the father. So it's the law that the court will investigate the matter and give the children to both parents. I don't see how it's wrong if one week, the child gets to live with one parent and another week, it gets to live with another parent. That is completely fair and the child also gets to see both parents. Parents shouldn't be selfish. They should think about their child's needs first and foremost. Maybe in your case, your daughters would prefer to live with you, I'm not denying that, but that's not the case for everyone, and certainly it shouldn't be shown as the norm on TV. Television should show both parents being important in a child's life or else it gives a bad message to society, that only the mother is important and a father is not.

I don't agree that children need mother over father. They need both, because I know from my own experience that I love both my mother and father equally, and if in my childhood I grew up with only one of them, I would have missed out on a lot. If given a choice, I wouldn't know who to choose because both are equal to me.
