But that was in the show, in real life the story is quite the opposite. The actor recently was stunned when an elderly lady asked him to marry her daughter. Ashish confirms, "Yes this incident is true and it left me baffled. It was the first time a mother approached me for a marriage. All this happened in a temple in a total filmy way and my reaction was 'Why! How! What!'. Of course I didn't react or said any such thing; I just calmly listened to her and politely refused explaining that isn't possible. This is the time I realized that how seriously people take our reel life characters. The good thing about this incident is that I got proper evidence that I am doing my part convincingly enough for a mother to ask my hand for her daughter."
