Later, I used to track the serial once in a while and saw that her inherent nature was the same. However, at that time for some reason, I started wondering isn't Rashi more like Kokila and Gopi like Hetal. And I am not talking about the jhoot and kalakaaris but the nature of being upfront, taking a stand and speaking her mind. The main thing she lacked was putting her family above everyone else as for her, her 'family' meant only her mother.
But now, though she still remains lazy, there is a marked shift in how she views her mother and tells her off (especially when it comes to Meera). Plus, she has learnt to keep her mouth shut when the matter does not affect her directly. I think it is her childish way of talking (as if she is throwing a tantrum) that is a negative for her. She has the ability to see through people's true nature and the more I see her, I feel Kokila should be fair to the bahus and train Rashi to take responsibility after her instead of Gopi. Gopis is soft like Hetal (can't you just imagine her going 'java de' when Rashi gets angry) and can be her sounding board.
This is just my POV. I know that Gopi is the key protagonist and there might not be many people here who support Rashi but I am just trying to see the potential in her.
