When Giaa Manek was replaced by Devoleena Bhattacharjee as Gopi bahu in Saath Nibhana Saathiya, everyone expected the ratings to go down. Well, it did.

The serial lost its numero uno position, but has now managed to climb up the charts again as is evident in the latest ratings. As the experts say, on TV, it's never about the actors, but always about the characters, the story and the various twists.

I agree with Article.. Audiance gets hyper when their fave actor or actress replace but passing the time ppl understand n accept the reality.. Not they holding on thing n singing the same ga ga.. 😊

Daily soaps run mostly because of the story line.. Actors come and go but the soaps popularity

remain. At the end of the day, hardwork from the entire unit and a good script with interesting characters and tracks are what makes a soap😊

I am not sure so correct me if I am wrong but SNs lost it's No 1 position before replacement of Gopi...
Devo is doing great as Gopi and as for storyline..SNS storyline is fab...well paced and dramatic..
