WU - 09/10/2012 - Baa's B'Day

The Modi's return home and Rashi welcomes them. Everyone is really sad. Baa asks for some tea and Gopi volunteers to do it. Rashi darling pitches in with her requirements ((she asked for lots of sugar.. Rashi seems to like sweet things😆). Unfortunately for her, in the mood Koki is in, she stops Gopi and reminds Rashi that she was just supervising and not working. She adds that Rashi should have already made tea and sends her to get some. Jigar unhappy😕

Baa asks Jigar to take her to her room. Here Rashi goes to the kitchen.

As usual the neighbors of RN (Savitha bens of RN😉) come to ask after Urmi or to put it in their words, are concerned for Urmi. Urmi tells them that she does not reveal private matters out😲 and sends them away.

Rashi is angry that she is being punished for her mom's mistake (a misconception. I think Rashi was sent to make tea as it was needed and Koki wanted her out when they were discussing Kinjal and Urmi again. But lets leave that.) She calls Urmi up and blames her for picking a fight with Koki. Urmi is herself angry and she asks Rashi to stop and cuts the phone.

All are discussing Kinjal. Hetal tells Koki to forget what happened and let time heal the differences. Koki is still worried and sad. Chirag chips in and says that it was time they let those two act as grown ups and asks Koki not to worry.

Rashi gives tea Koki says she does not want any and Jigar returns with Baa. He announces that it is Baa's B'Day the next day. (He was very cute doing it. He mimicked his Dadaji, I think and said Baa was getting one year younger😳).. Baa is all smiles and ☺️

Koki tells Baa that they will have special pooja like always the next morning and celebrate her B'Day. Baa agrees and also says that she wishes for grand celebrations as she is like around 70-80ish.. sorry, I did not get the age she was saying😊. Jigar teases her that her age is sweet sixteen and all happy and smiling including Koki..😃 (Lovely how such a small thing can change the entire atmosphere in seconds.. Good job Jigar👏)

Gopi and Rashi walk down to Baa's room discussing guests. Gopi tells Rashi that they will talk to Baa and add more if needed. As they stand at Baa's door, they hear her talking to someone. Rashi wonders if Baa is talking to them.. But Gopi shows her that Baa is actually talking to the picture.

Such a sweet scene.. Baa talks to a picture of her and her husband when they were younger. She talks of how reading a letter has become a norm on every one of her B'Day. She talks of how Dadaji and she wrote it together when they were young but as he was so into getting the business up and with the expanding family, all their wishes and dreams remained in paper and could not be enjoyed together😭 Baa sadly says that they now have everything but she does not have Dadaji with her anymore😭 Gopi looks on sadly but GoShi hide as Baa removes her hearing aid and sleeps.

Gopi wants to leave but Rashi insists that they look at Baa's letters. She tells Gopi that they will not be able to know what Baa wishes for until they see those letters. Gopi does not want to (adhering to the rule that letters are private😉) but Rashi just goes in and looks at the letters😆

She makes some noise opening the sandook where Baa kept the letter and Gopi cautions her. Rashi tells Gopi that Baa slept through the Kinjal-Urmi fight 🤣 .. so this is nothing.

Rashi takes the letter and reads in it that Baa wishes for a different kind of celebration with her friends and music and dance. Gopi understands and feels happy while Rashi is clueless😆

Baa turns again and asks who is in the room. So GoShi go out closing the sandook.

Gopi then thanks Rashi for insisting that they read the letter and tells her that, now they may be able to fulfill atleast one of Baa's dreams.. Rashi still clueless

GoShi sitting on the couch while JiHem on bed and all are discussing the party. Jigar says that they have to throw a party and all agree. He asks Gopi to get lot of rose petals to shower on Baa

the next day. Rashi still confused as to what 'different' means in Baa's dictionary😊 Gopi says that some of Baa's friends are coming to the pooja already. She hints that they can call more friends. Ahem agrees while Rashi questions him. 😆 She feels that they will not be able to find any of Baa's old friends as some may be not in this world anymore🥱

But Jigar tells her not to mention these things and then remembers one of Baa's friends who comes to the temple often. (See Rashi.. even Jigar knows..😆)

So the tasks are divided. Ahem gets cake ordering duty. Jigar decorations, Gopi offers to call Smriti aunty and also cook. But Jigar tells her no. He asks her to take it easy and offers Rashi's help in cooking. Rashi is sad😕

As RaJi walk out of the GoHem room, Rashi mutters to herself that it is good they did not see the other letters in Baa's sandook. She is angry that she has to work.. But Jigar is super excited and shares the same with Rashi.

The younger generation got to work.

Here Koki and Hetal are walking downstairs and Hetal tells Koki that apart from pooja, they have to.. and both women are surprised to see all younger modi's deep in work. Jigar and Ahem are hanging decorations. Gopi calling Smrithi aunty and Rashi getting the B'Day board ready. Both come out.

Here Gopi hits Jackpot and a cute thumbs up from Jigar to Gopi while Ahem looks on happily. The elder MILs come down and question the four. Ahem explains that they took a sudden decision and are planning the surprise. Both mothers happy but Koki cautions that Baa likes things in a very traditional fashion (oh yeah..😆 Baa is the hippiest person in MM😃). So Jigar asks Gopi to explain about the letters which she does. Koki looks like "You did what"😡 and Ahem immediately understands that expression😆 He tells Koki that they know it was wrong to read the letters but then they are doing it for Baa. Hetal helps by adding that as the children have thought something nice, they should continue... All happy😃

So during Pooja the next day as Baa prays and does Aarti, Jigar signals to GoHem and everyone hides. Baa turns around to see an empty hall😆 Baa searches all and walks to the hall and she is showered by rose petals and shouts of B'Day wishes (I thought Baa will get an heart attack😉) All Modi's come to the hall. Jigar and Ahem are spraying foam around. Parag wishes Baa and Koki takes her Ashirvaad. Gopi does it next. Jigar kisses Baa and all happy.

And then the surprise.. Janko's friends come in wishing her 😛 Baa super happy. She meets her friends and then turns to say that she always wished to have a party with her friends on her B'Day (So aww).. Koki tells Baa that this is Rashi and Gopi's idea and Baa hugs them. Then she demands her presents😆

All go to cut Baa's cake.. cake is cute (proclaiming Baa is still 16.. credit to Jigar😳) and all wish her. Baa's friends wish her for becoming a great grandmother and then just like Baa ask for snacks😆. Gopi offers to bring it (Again) and now Baa's friends forbid her to do a lot of work.. So Rashi gets the task (again) and she is like "Shoot.. It is always me" (again)😕 But she goes off.

In the hall, Baa is gossiping with her friend Smrithi who tells her that she cannot even watch films (looks like she was crazy fan of movies) as she has to take care of her grandchildren as their mother is at work ( a sad reality indeed)😊

Here Hetal tells Koki that she knows what Koki is thinking. Both talk of how happy Baa looks and Koki tells Hetal that she hopes nothing disturbs that happiness..

Precap: Mota Bhabhi tells Koki that there are 3 more letters in Baa's sandook.. Koki thinks loudly that if Baa is so happy when her one wish came true, what if.. GoShi and Ahem look on understanding..

So there. It was a cute episode which made me smile a lot. The modis did great today. However somehow I feel that the 3 letters are going to open a lot of issues.. Rashi is already not happy So the next track is based on Baa's wishes.. Let us see what is in store.

Me neither.. 😕 I thought I was the only one feeling this way 😊

The fact that Baa talked so emotionally about it addressing it to her hubby made it more personal. I think the Modi's are going to go overboard with this and make Baa feel sad

such a detailed update.. reminds me of the updates which i used to do in June July .. long long updates😆
