What has brought about Ahem to express his thanks so many times?
What was he so thankful for? Was it that the consignment was on its way to the airport? How about relief knowing that eventually Dhaval had driven to the airport and delivered the consignment on time? Perhaps it was relief that this was finally achieved having gone through so many obstacles? Or was it hearing his Gopi's chirpy and delightful voice after many days of worry expressing to him that she was feeling very happy?
When it came to showing her how thrilled he was upon her getting another consignment, he did so spectacularly. He presented her cheque proudly reciting her full name and congratulated her by shaking her hand, even though he had to correct her he did so willingly and with ease. His joy was visible not only in his tuneful voice but also in his smile as it touched his eyes, just like the smile he aims every time to see on her face.
Ahem was completely and utter exhilarated having made his wife into an amazing business women. This supersedes even his excitement he had when he taught her to read and write. He has raised her status significantly if only to bring happiness to her smile and provide her to feel a sense of accomplishment in the wider world. He was with her every step of the way, just as a true life partner. He helped her, comforted her and healed her. He was her rock through this. He held her hand from start to the end, not letting it go. Ahem was simply beyond belief.
