It's crystal clear we all have our mindsets. What I say won't make sense to anyone of the opposite mindset because that's fixed.

PH says Gia broke contract. Gia says they fired her. NONE of the statements match. Is that not the truth?

I could say the same too. IT IS like banging your head against a brick wall.

As for gender biases, it exists. There is no denying it, but it is just one product of an infinite number of factors. We can't complain about it
WITHOUT trying to fix the other 'isms'.

OK here is something for you to think about. The majority of this forum are female. So you have seen gender bias in Giaa's treatment at the hands of big bad SP and PH and are upset and outraged.

How many of you have for one moment given thought to Devoleena and her situation? Have you? Nope. With the exception of a very few forumites I have seen the way people speak about her. On a daily basis she is insulted, sworn at and denigrated. By females. None of whom seem capable of putting themselves in her shoes for even one moment. And think wow this is a member of my own sex and she does not deserve this. She does not deserve my hate and my insults. Instead she deserves my support. My support because she is a victim of circumstances just like Giaa. Think about it. Be honest with yourself and admit that I am right. And yes you can support both of them. There is no law that says you can support Giaa only and hate Dev. No. The middle and just road involves supporting both. Now how many of you have done that again? And you want to come in here and talk about gender bias? Rather go back and think about what gender bias actually is.

Oh another issue. Remember that little scandal that hit a few days ago. Some small time actress was caught in a prostitution ring. Did we see how the majority of this forum reacted? This female dominated forum. What did you do? You started guessing games on who it was. Some of you passed judgement on those poor girls without even giving a moment's consideration of their circumstances or what drove them to do what they did. Where was your compassion to them? Where was your understanding? Where was your humanity? To a member of the same sex as you. Nope once again it was all judgement and in some cases even glee as you speculated on who it could be.

Yes Gender Bias exists. It exists on this Forum. And it is the very females on this forum who are biased against their own sex!

I await the usual plethora of denials. But once things are said in black and white you cannot deny them. And we all saw what was being said in both of the above situations.

Luke 6:42

"Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye."

Good point...I doubt if half-baked feminists will ever understand it😉

Nope they won't. Too busy pointing fingers at others to look at the hypocrisy in their own hearts and minds 😔

Shaun.. Actually didn't go through your full post.. Just got glimse.. What I understand from that is are you questioning why pol didn't accept dev and making comments? That is nothing related to gender bias.. It is individual personal opinion.. When u r watching something, u don't like that person.. That is the point.. I don't how u r relating thus point with this post.. When one is not doing their job good, they have to face the criticism.. And comments, specially who are on colorful acting world.. We hate many big actors.. I don't think hating dev or giaa is a big matter, where we have to think about girls we should support.. But one thing I will oppose the jealousy and blaming an actor just because others are praising her.. That makes sucks..

It is gender bias sandy. If Nazim was replaced we would have had maybe a fraction of the hate and venom spewed against the male who replaced him.

Instead we would have had woman calling for him to be given a chance and all sorts of excuses for him being in the situations. He would have been given a lot more tolerance than Dev ever was. Heck before long he would have been made into a hero. A week or two later the whole thing would have blown over.

But of course all of this will be denied. Old story.

PS. I noticed you didn't care to address the second point of my post. But then again this thread was always only ever going to be about Giaa versus Dev. The gender bias was just a cover up.

Everyone is entitled to his / her opinion. But I think Gia's ouster has nothing to do with gender bias. It has more to do with her choice ( JDJ over SNS). And NO she can't do both if SP says so.

Whether you like it or not, your primary employer does have a say about what you can or cannot do in your spare time - you can't just join their competitior and talk about personal freedom. Most of the companies I know about have rules about moonlighting.

Ahem's Punjabi movie or Barun's bollywood movie are not a threat to SP. But Colors is a rival channel and there is a lot of competition for eyeballs. So, they have no issues with Ahem or Barun's movie - but have issues with Colors. Makes business sense to me. Also, these things also depend a lot on the equation you share with your employers. There are lots of male leads who quit serials when they get movie offers - that Barun and Nazim got to work on movies alongwith their soaps just say that they share a very healthy relation with their employers.

Now I say that is a joke, don't we all know what happen when ipk lead took off for his upcoming movie shoot, if naazim replaced, there would big fight happened.. Unless the replacement is better than him, here also same case if the replacement is good, no body would have any problem.. Second thing it is not related to giaa vs dev. This thread is about gender bias and effect in Giaa.. No body mention about dev in this thread.. U gave to check who dragged dev and giaa vs dev here.. Insight gave missed. I didn't read your post fully:)

It would be gender bias if anas rashid, kushal were allowed to participate while gia sanaya and hina would not be allowed. Why dont we scream gender bias when gia was the most paid?? She got paid more than nazim.

Ah the message is clear now. This is a support Giaa thread. Nothing at all to do with a serious issue like Gender bias. OK I am out of here.

The OP should have made it clear. I would have avoided wasting my time and energy and I vouch others would have done the same.

The next time you guys want a pat on the back I suggest keep it in a chat thread. Don't disguise it as a discussion thread.
