Gia danced gorgeously to a comic dance in jdj today. Karan and Madhuri had heaps of praise for Gia's comic and dancing skills. I hope colors takes Gia in a serial on their channel in 7 pm slot. Star plus can be the looser while gia shines due to her professionalism and dev continues to churn out crap for sns.

Personally I couldn't understand watching something or someone I claim to hate. But then that's just me.

"Hate?" Now WHERE in the world did you derive that from my post that I hated her? I do not think she excells well in the role and that it was a challenging role for anyone to have done...a more experienced actress might have been more successful. This does not mean I have anything against the girl who plays her - she is cute but this role does not suit her. Poor casting.

To tell the truth I continued to watch ater the change, and my whole reason for watching the show was the characters of Gopi, Koki and Ahem.

I finally gave up on it because the connection was no longer there.

I just want to say thank you for voicing your thoughts here. You were not even a big Gohem fan and feel like this so imagine how us Gohem fans feels about this. Your words means a lot to many of us. Thank you so much.

I felt the same when MIK left a show and another actor ended up doing all the romantic stuff with the lead - it was never the same. Each actor brings something new to the role and here Dev should stop trying to copy Gia act as Gopi...she needs to be herself and bring her own self to the role. The guy who replaced Manav in PR did a good job because looked at the character and not the actor who played him. Yes, the character is "different" but it is a lot more authentic. At this point Dev should not shy from giving us a more secure and confident Gopi - it would fit well with the "new Gopi' and would help us move on as viewers. Part of the reason for the shows demise is it has reached a point where there is not much left for the viewers to watch. The cast has gone through multiple ordeals and we've enjoyed them but now is the time for the show to close its curtains on a good note...shows typically try to stretch themselves for a long time but I feel this show should end on a good note - kids born - and curtains close...at least that is my opinion. I mean no offense to anyone...SNS has been a wonderfully written show...I am impressed at the writing and the acting and it will always hold a special place in my heart as a well done show. I would rather it leave on a good note rather than ruining it in order to stretch it until we're all upset with it.

I agree it should end on a good note. As for Dev, she is making Gopi's character too confusing. One minute she is showing the maturity but in the next she is so hesitant that it just does not connect at all. In any case I don't want to say more because don't want to be accused of bashing her, but I feel she is not the right choice for the character of Gopi, and she fails to carry off the emotional scenes. Also her accent is a total turn off.

after watching todays performance of giaa on jdj gia is no longer gopi bahu her acting and dancing and her dressing was totally different and this performance puts giaa as a top entertienter and dancer she look nothing like gopi for her its moving forward not going back to all sad and tears acting which she has done well.
