SNS and Production House

This will probably get closed but I had to pose the question. Many of us want Gia back as Gopi. But if she don't come back would this actress be a good replacement?

Oh she is pretty, she would totally fit the bill. She has that sweet, innocent look that would fit the character. You should totally be the casting director for this show. I would hire her in a heartbeat just from that pic.

here is my take.. i know all my posts offend Gia fans 😆 but i will post it...

- Gia was awesome as gopi as long she did the show... but the current track.. where the character gopi is pregnant .and where she has to be a bit more passionate and has to physically and emotionally compliment Ahem ...Dev fits the bill...

-Gia's face reflects innocence, which was needed for her character until she was confessed love and declared pregnant...but i, personally think, Gia looking like a sweet kid herself, wouldn't pull off the pregnant woman character easily .. while Dev has that extra edge of it...

I know i am comparing the two actors.. which we shouldn't... i personally think the timing at which Dev was introduced is perfect and I think it to be a welcome change from here on where we do not have to completely rely on Gopi's innocence... Gopi's character is changing into the one loving and being loved by her husband passionately .. it is more than adoring and worshiping Ahem... going further she will be a mom...here also dev fits the bill..

and the one you have posted.. the girl looks more like a teenage girl... she cannot pull of Gopi's character as a mom-to-be and suit Ahem's passionate and romantic side...

P.S: heheh - i know i know.. . come on .. chappals...size 7 flip flops.. organic eggs, tomatoes, baby spinach and organic low fat cheese.. all are welcome...

@Munni. I can understand where you are coming from and nice points. My issue is, is that they picked an actress to fullfil in such a way that it was a shock to the system. Dev is probably a perfectly good actress for other roles but for the role of Gopi we needed one who would show Gopi as she blossomed in love and in pregnancy. I am not really seeing that in Dev. I have given it quite a bit of time to get used to her, but unfortunately she is not for me. Finding an actress who was much closer in looks to Gia would have been better or the story line to go down the route as in Amrit Manthan involving plastic surgery it may have been easier to accept. But I am perfectly happy to agree to disagree on this as we all see things differently. That is what makes the world an interesting place. If we all agreed it would be so boring.😃

I find DEv compliments Ahem in the storyline as it is now...and I also think SNs story is going to move towards showing a more intense and complex relationship ,,,with tiffs and arguements and Gopi teasing Ahem and standing upto him...

the girl in the pic looks too young fro our hot and manly Ahem...ahenmji was always very sexy but as teh story is going now with his acknowledged love and yearning for Gopi..he is getting hotter by the day...and he would look like a cradle snatcher with the girl in the pic.
