If Giaa was Gopi, the story of SNS would have been a different today ... these possibility would have arised ..

(1) Ahem wouldnt have confessed this soon.
(2) Gopis miscarriage was bound to happen
(3) Ahems repentance track would definitely come up
(4) A new definition to GoHem Relationship could be seen, then
(5) Gopi slowly would have recovered
(6) Ahem realizing his love for Gopi
(7) Ahems confession, then would have followed with these tracks.



Vishal saying they are shooting back to back ... keeping in mind the audience reviews... and which is falling to keep the audiences glued to the show as it did earlier ... Even when Anita track was going on SNS scored kinda average TRPS of 3 (i guess) ... Dev is certainly lacking to get the audience attention towards her as Gopi.. A its true, Dev as gopi is no longer the central story of SNS ...

I say this as per the tracks came up with post replacement..

(1) Ahems confesion, failed to get the audience attention and hence was just a scene of barely few seconds or minutes ...

(2) Ahem not wanting the baby and his frustrated declaration in front of teh whole family, making KoHem relation going kaput which again failed to get the audience back to the show and thus followed by an early patch up between them, Dev as Gopis accident were bahaana..

(3) RaJi SR ... well thats not a way of showing SR ... i would say it was an accidental SR nothing else ...

(4) Gopis accident and miscarriage again failed miserably to hold back the audience.. as there wasnt wonderful response to it from the public, and was a tactic to patch up KoHem, which again back fired ...

(5) Rashi wanting to get preggie ... again a desperate move to get the audience, who are by now least bothered about whats happening in SNS ... again a back fired plan ...

(6) Ahems romantic image with some rain seq ... failed again to catch eye balls people, who have waited for 2.5years to see his love struck image... well again a failed plan by the PH team ...




So i sum up my whole rant saying if Giaa was Gopi the state and condition of SNS would have been way better then what it is today .. And a last word replacement of leads dont work at all ... KSBKBT is and was and will always be an exceptional, where the lead Ronit roy worked with the audience as Mihir. RS should stop considering herself from being another Ekta Kapoor, RS has yet a long way to go and she is nothing in front of Ekta Kapoor.


Devs bad acting as Gopi is the main reason why the TRPs of the show are dripping by every passing week. RS learn your moral soon, before its too late (anyways its too late now, as if things are going to be normal again)

I never watched the above show you mentioned, but it worked also becasue Ronit Roy is a very good actor, who adapted to the role of in that show. Also the show on sony where Monish Bhel is replaced, (I forget the name of the show) is still going good because the replacement is experienced actor who is able toadapt to the character quickly.

I am not saying Dev is a bad actress, but she would be better suited for a differen role.

As for anyone else playing Gopi, I cannot say for sure, but things could have worked if they tried to replace Gia with someone who atleast have played a Gujarati vahu before, or is able to pull of the language and emotions better than Dev.

Shilpa dii, the show on Sony is KUCH TOH LOG KAHENGE ...

To run a show the lead has to be experienced with one show at least ... Whereas with Dev the case is entirely opposite .. she was the third lead of some show on Imagine channel, where her screen space was minimal as compared what screen space she has as Gopi.

An experienced actor is needed when you are replacing a lead of the show, you just cant randomnly select someone to play a lead of the show. Things would have actually been better if teh replacement was worth it, but Dev as Gopi aint any worth at all ...

Dev mb a good actress with pretty features et all, but she aint experienced enough to carry off a lead character ... Gopi is well established character, you cant take time to groom yourself inn the role, people are aware of what the character has been through, to be accepted by the audience easily you to adapt the character within few days, when you are a replacement in the show and you are also aware of the comparisons which are bound to happen, you cant take time to over this and you take time viewers detach from the show ... this is what happened with SNS ...

Good post. Yes, probably this girl might have worked as she has some resemblance to Giaa. The new girl is just not lead material, period.
