Ahem and love: reality vs fantasy

Ahem bore the growing nettling and frustration of the happenings around him that niggled at him through the puja. What triggered his eruption after the puja where the sounds from the toy and his mother's persistent probing of his detached behaviour, only for him to blurt out the thoughts that were at the tip of his tongue reflecting what his mind was thinking.

Not long thereafter did he realise what he expressed, regretting it instantly and wanting to make amends. The damage was done and there was no retracting. The boundary was laid, the law was enforced and the separation was put into place.

Ahem questioned the timing of their child. Why would he want to go through this at this stage of his blossoming relationship with his wife. His frustration mounted with him not being about to spend time with her as she would be with others rather than him. At night he could not even sleep alongside her fearing he may hurt her and the baby. Thereafter came the natter and expectations of becoming a responsible father. These were the factors that drove a wedge between his heart, his love for his wife, and his mind, the dawning reality.

The thing with Ahem is that he is in a state of quandary. Reality verses fantasy were being played out right in front of him. He was having such a good time spinning an illusionary world of love with Gopi not paying too much attention to the reality. Eventually the needle had ripped from the record and he landed in reality with a cold, hard bump.

Now his world is in an upheaval. His illusions will not materialise and his desires won't be fulfilled, leaving his heart aching for her as he watched her be pulled away from their room.

What will it take to mend this and how soon?

A thing to note in Ahem and love today:
* impeccable acting were given by both Nazim and Rupal.

Swasthi,
Brilliant evaluation of the episode!
Mother and son were against each other today. Kokila the mother and the mother in law, stood by her daughter in law or in Kokila's words "her own daughter."
She didn't give him a chance to speak because the damage was done and it was too late. He has made his point. Whatever he says now will only be temporary to alleviate the situation. It will not be true.
Ahem's concern for his wife was finally seen on his face when he saw her standing outside the bedroom crying. Was it her that he was concerned about or was it the mother AND the baby that he was worried about afterall???
Ahem has come a long way, but frustration engulfed him. I was surprised at how quickly he calmed down. His voice is still not above his mothers. She stands firm and strong.
I am looking forward to next week's episodes.
Nazim beautifully executed the role of Ahem. Rupal as always was awesome.
A vital ingredient was missing today - Rashi, so instead of showing Rashi's shocked face we got Parag's. I hope there is a father-son track coming up soon, otherwise this high frequency of Parag shots will go to waste.
Thank you for that wonderful analysis Swasthi!😊

Fantastic Post Swasthi...😃 Hats off to CVs for creating such a dhamakardar track...👏
This is definitely going to focus on Ahem earning Gopi's love now & facing all his past deeds towards her...It's going to bring Nazim's talent as an actor even more now than ever before...

Kokila, as usual is outstanding in her character, the shock & pain in her eyes and her disappointment towards her son was amazingly portrayed...⭐️

Mentioned this before in another post...Really hope CVs also make use of Parag & Ahem's relationship & improve it even more & for once show a father guiding his son on the right path and play that fatherly role that he hadn't apparently done in the past...Also it would be wonderful to see more JiHem scenes & portray that brotherly bond...😊

This track was unexpected for me, but really happy & excited that are doing it...So many awesome scenes to look forward to!

Thanks Swasthi...😊

Fantastic Analysis.

Ahem has always had it too easy. Sure he has come a long way from being the angry young man to the person he is today, but even then he did not think about the changes that comes along with changed feelings.

When he realized he and Gopi were going to be parents, he was not aware of the changes that would come along with this, he was thinking he still had the time to be with her, think about her, come close to her, but circumstances prevented him from doing this.

His encounter with the kids left bad impression of children and he realized not only that but he will no longer be the priority for his wife.

As his frustration mounted, the trigger of toy going off made him blow up. Once again, he let his anger get better of him and he spoke without thinking and crossed all limits.

He regretted it immediately, but it was too late this time. This time he went too far, and have lost everything dear to him.

How he mends his way will be interesting to watch.

I agree, Nazim and Rupal were both brilliant today and gave a very powerful performance and gave us a fantastic episode.

Brilliant post, Swasthi and Shilpa. This time Ahem digs his own grave, and as you said he have had everything easy, being pampered by Koki, and others. But I think that somewhere along the line, the fact that Gopi is pregnant, has been mentioned time and time again by at least one member of the family and how Gopi will not be able to give him time. So, the angry young man thought he has the right to voice whatever he is thinking and looks, where that has lead him to. Alone, without Mom and wife.

Brilliant post Swasthi. Ahem's saturation levels had reached an all time high. With the cocoon Gopi in cotton wool attitude, the constant talk of the changes he will have to accept when becoming a parent, the child from hell with a behaviour problem, the parent not capable to discipline said brat and his tendency to fly off the handle without thinking. I don't really blame him. Have not seen the epi today but can imagine how he felt when he realised what he had said out loud.

Swasthi awesome analysis!! Both Koki & Ahem were superb in the sc.
It was about time that Koki gave this bitter & harsh pill to her darlingh son. Somebody had to show him the harsh result of his harsh judgmental thinking. Thx to Koki's upbringing that Ahem has become SELFISH!! He has no patience and thinks only about himself first and is very short tempered and gets short circuit very fast. ...with this jhatka Koki will fix all his volts & amps.

Many were upset that Ahem did not apologize to Gopi properly and had everything served on the platter...Chalo Lets Party now coz we know the future😉
AHHH this is exactly what happens when you didn't want to visit and confront the past: the past starts visiting and confronting you lolz Ahem ji

You are welcome Joice.

Great complementary comments made by you too.

@ bold - this will reveal itself over the coming days.

Agree, this brings on moment of a proper father son talk and bonding moment. Let's hope the CVs make best use of this opportunity.

At the vital ingredient missing - Rashi had been instrumental in creating this moment. Will her needs be pushed aside as Jigar will be concerned for his brother and Gopi.
