Nope. Unclean dress etc are about grooming but black is about complexion. She wasn't talking about dirt and grime.

vibhanot fighting with u but inthe history of SNS how many crap tracks we have seen.Stupid kalakari tracks. It is better they themselves(unit members)acts or they hire the poor persons who needs money. So they can contribute in increasing jobs. They can give respectable jobs to "Hijdas"(I am not finding proper word oh they are kinnars)But sns has no strong storylines.Well I am mad for Gina that is why I watch the show.No offence to anyone.

To conclude, I would say initially PH decides the story and starcast. But finally the viewers are the king.they will decide what to see and what not.You cant force them. You cant tell only face is changed character is the same. Here DEv and Jiaa 2 diff.actors have presented 2 diff.characters.Jiaa's Gopi was already loved by all.So they should have to think 1000 timesas dev is presenting the character in different way which is not liked by most of the viewers. Most of the viewers who continue to watch till today is due to our beloved, hot, dashing Naazim.Because story is to weak and crap and stupid to follow.Again it is actor who is being watched and not the story.

Storyline is definately important, I tend to stop watching SNS from time to time if it goes out of place or its just too slow and too many kalakaries for me to digest yet continue to read updates in hope of it getting back on track. I do the same for any other serial If I'm getting bored I will miss a few episodes then comeback to it.

4 me story n actors both r important...

ya 1st story ... bt only story z there n u dnt hav actors who express their char perfectly then great story also goes in vain..

actors r also hav same importance... y bcz they potray d feel of d character imagined by d writer... vthout them story vl b there bt vthout life..

so both hav their importance...

bt if u analyze many sops...

d start vl b diff n after few days/months its only bcz of actors it vl wrk...

if take only story line... in one way r other almost all r child to already completed story...only d actors r differentiating them vth their own style...

so nw a days actors r important...(4 longer survival difference in story needed unless d channel r ph never bother abt low trps...also)

Actually it is the story line which makes the actors...and gopi is a fictional character and aham too is a fictional character...

but suppose imagine if Gopis character is so strong innocent and have influenced the life of many.

thats why we are addicted to saathiya forum.

gopi is created by script.

but if such a strong character is played by a anyone who is not yet all fit the character and their personality does not suit the character dont you think so the script and the story line wont carry any value..

Imagine gopis character is played by anyone in industry suppose why cant the role be given to Mani, she is a better actress can carry the gopis character well.

Script just creates the character but the actors will add life to the characters.

even if the directors and producers come up with any story line which is fantastic if the actors fail to bring out the character as a reality the show has to end boss.

now imagine why cant rashis character be given to anyone, like i say i prefer Sumona chakraborth or chahat khanna of Bade acche lagte hain, actually infact Rashis character can be well played by anyone of these two actress they are extremely too good and very beautiful and talented and they can carry rashis character really well... because they will suit the present track of RaJi a lot...

highly romantic and too good to see Jigar with any of these girls as a pair.

About the dirty hair and unkempt look. Remember princess diary mia before the transformation or ugly betty or jassi jaisi koi nahi or dekha ek khwab in the beginning. I watched them all coz they had a strong script!! Ugly betty rocked. What about bridget jones diary she was not slim like the other gal s i loved it. So yes for me physical beauty does not matter. Not every one has to look like katrina perfect.

Agree with you Vibha, the script demands the type of actor / actress that is needed and not every one is suited for all roles. That is why I said that both Shabana Azmi and Katrina Kaif are wonderful actresses in their own right, but both can do justice of only particular roles. So we cannnot undermine the contribution of an actor, in a given script.

Exactly the script demands the actor and every actor puts a little to the character obviously but after all pen is mightier than the sword. The person who sat and processed all the minute details is the one who should be given credit. Some one said if script is king i should only read and not see the show. I completely agree i enjoy reading ff s more than the show s. Anyone who has read happy potter/twilight am sure goes really excited to watch the movie but comes back thinking why did they miss this and this and this. So for me words convey more beautifully than the actor. If you have a love scene and some physically appealing character talks cheesy stuff wont touch my heart but two average looking people have some beautiful lines am all for it!!!

But Vibha here were are not taking about books, we are talking about movies and serials, where actors are an integral part of the process of telling a story.

Yes you are right. cheesy dialoges between the best looking actors are meaningless if the script is not right. Script is important, very important, but the actor excecuting the character is equally important. For example, if the actress playing "Pratigya" did not show the the right emotion then the whole thing will fall flat and the viewer will not be able to connect.
Someone mentioned the movie Aaisha, yes the script was very average, but Abhay Deol was extraordinary. He took his role to another level and I enjoyed that movie just because of him.
I feel that both are equally important.
