And that's some extremely poignant 5 cents at that 👏

Very good points were made. Especially that there are lots of people who put hard work into the success of this show, and it was not dependent on one person. I'm also glad you addressed how dangerous it is to get so gung-ho about a fictional show, especially when there are so many great people and things in our actual lives.

Thanks for this 😊

HI MG 😃, Thx for your kind words. I am really tired as people are roaming around in a blind alley blindfolded. So decided to point out the obvious. 😉

I understand completely, believe me. I really commend you for addressing the "dangerous mindset". I think a lot of people were bothered by the dangerous and obsessive attitude that sometimes hung like a giant black cloud on the forum. It's hard to mention, much less discuss, so great job on that 👍🏼

Fantastic post - very much needed ---👏

yeah the celebration of triumph is premature and it is just a FICTIONAL show - we as individuals should get above the pettiness

Thank you! It is really the mindset that bothers me. It's a fictional show, but I think that the lines between reel and real have been blurred for some. Just yesterday, in a thread that had an article from the Hindustan Times (or Times of India), the article's author had used the wrong last names for the actors in Saathiya. I replied that she should've done research, but in indirect replies to the post, members here created a sarcastic uproar commenting on the duality of my standards. I was vouching for the actors' names, not for a fictional character! They are separate, are they not? 😕

I second that Rachana - same thing happened with me as well - indirect replies ---

@bold: Happened to me as well.

@Rachana: You are right. Characters are not the same as actors and actors are not the same as characters. They are indeed separate

Munni, our HMT Hug 🤗 Missing Harini a lot 😭
My post is the result of party post😛
Celebration is fine but the reason is wrong . People are forgetting that ...If wishes were horses then beggars would ride😛
I don't know why we celebrate individual success while the team as a whole should be acknowledged and the larger & bigger picture shd be kept in mind.
But ummm I leave it at that😃

The problem i have is would such behaviour be allowed on another forum? If i walk into ipkknd for instance and call for the show to be ditched and for trp's to fall would the mods allow me free reign? Or is there a leeway being granted to the forumites here? And if so than i have to wonder why. Yes it would be sad to lose old forumites who used to love the show. But from their behaviour now they cannot be called sns fans any longer. And they still only have one goal in mind. Destabilise the forum and have sns off air.
