Prayansh Aransh Anpi FF: Swapnakoodu
I think it's pretty universal.
When my friend was pregnant both her and her boyfriend used to refer to it as he without thinking.
And when my cousin was pregnant with her daughter the assumption was that the baby is a he!!

It is a cultural thing. I rem my grandmother(naani) blatantly favouring her grandsons...anything that the granddaughters did was wrong...she used to reserve some extra cashew nuts and sweets for them and give it secretly..that was just an instance. Probably this is one of the reasons why I preferred my paternal grandmother to my maternal one. The things she did may seem small now, but it did really hurt me as a child.thankfully my parents don't have that old narrow mindset.
