Thanks dea for the wonderful post.

I have calmed down since I accepted the following facts and would urge my fellow forumites to do the same:

1) SNS is just a fiction.
2) I am free to stop watching it whenever I want. I have stopped watching because the new Gopi did not fit the bill. If the new Gopi was a a good actress, I may have continued watching SNS.
3) I liked Giaa as Gopi but, I do not have the energy nor time to fight to bring her back. There are other issues that require my full attention.

Hope my reasons make sense to at least someone out there
