In employment law, if an employee is dismissed, she can sue for unfair dismissal. They have they own courts in Employment called Tribunals.
I think Giaa Maanek has a case, because Star Plus have allowed previous actors Ragini Khanna and Parul to work on Jhalak Dikhlaja in previous years. Unless, Giaa Maanek's contract is a new one signed recently, which I feel it is, which states she cannot work for rival channels without seeking permission, she sort the permission, she was denied, and she has breached the contract by going ahead with Jhalak Dikhlaja, in that case Giaa Maanek will not have a case.
But Ragini Khanna and Parul did take part in that show, and must have had different contracts to Giaa Maanek or Star Plus decided to look the other way, if the latter is the case then Giaa Manek still has a case against Star. All depending if the courts are not biased and follow the rule of law and not the rule of paise.
