So it's been a few hours since the initial shock of Giaa's departure from SNS & I initially said that I was quitting because no one could be Gopi except Giaa. 
Now it's been a few hours later and I've had some time to think between dealing with angry clients and I have decided that I actually have always loved the cast of characters of SNS not only Giaa. Actually, I started watching the show because of Rucha as I saw a few episodes and really liked her acting & her storyline of the mean sister. I also liked Koki for her interaction with Rashi.
It was not until August of last year with the education track that I really started appreciating Giaa in the role as Gopi.
I've grown to like her as an actress & appreciate her talent, but today I have been thinking that there was really not much scope for her character, she has remained consistent throughout 2 years and that has got to be hard on her. There has been minimal character development & pretty much all she did in every single episode was cry. I remember her saying in an interview how hard it was for her to do that every day. Think of how draining this role must be on her physically, emotionally & mentally.
From her interviews we can all see that she is a vibrant, independent & strong person and that's probably why she pushed for the dance role. She wanted to do something different. Giaa probably got burnt out & wanted a change, but Star Plus decided she needed to choose one or the other and then most likely forced her hand and made her quit or fired her.
Either way, I will miss you Giaa, may you find lots of success in your future roles & I look forward to seeing you back as the lead in another serial, but as a strong character not as the door mat that you had to play for the last 2 years.
Best of luck to the rest of the team also as they now must make the transistion and welcome a new member of the team and adjust to that person. That is not easy as you built a relationship with that person for two years and now have to adjust to someone else.
I would like to see the CVs develop the other characters before they too leave. Hetal & the guys are pretty much just seen as props in each episode. Vishal just has to stand around. What a waste of talent.
So yea, I'm probably gonna stick around because for me SNS is not Vishal/NazimGia/Rucha etc, but it has become this forum where I hang out and share a common bond with you all. So until this show ends and I'm forced to leave the forum you can count on me making fun of the cast in my picture posts every night.
