PT 6
Everyone is sitting at breakfast table when anita says(sweetly) "ye kya fir se dhokla aur poha, gopi kuch aur agar mil jaata to ahcha hota."
Gopi and raashi make faces at this.
Hetal: Par dikra hum sab hamesha yahi khaate hai.
Anita: "Aunty me ye nahi keh rahi k khana bura bana hai...me to bas ye keh rahi thi ke me har subah dhokla khaake pak gayi hu."
Raashi: Koi baat nahi anita. Tum har din gopi k haath ka khaana khaati ho na. Aaj me tumhe apne haath se banaya hua khaana khilaogi. mujhe bas 10 min do.
Saying this raashi rushed to the kitchen.
Hetal tried to interrupt raashi knowing that raashi was a dreadful cook but cudn't do anything wen anita said "theek hai raashi. Me w8 karti hu...Aaaj tumhare haath ka bhi zaayka dekhe"
Gopi was really worried now. She went after raashi.
Gopi: Raashiben aap jaake naashta kijiye me bana dungi.
Raashi: Kyu anita ko kya khaane banake tum hi khila sakti ho, main nahi.
Gopi: Nahi raashiben mera matlab wo nahi tha
Raashi: To kya tha tumhara matlab
Gopi: raashiben aap hamesha khaane me gadbad karti ho(shocked). Mera matlab hai anithaben hamari atithi hai. Wo jaisi bhi hai unka dhyaan rakhna honga na
Raashi(slyly): wohi to kar rahi hu.
Gopi: Ji raashi ben
Raashi:kuch nahi gopi tu jaa... me sab sambhal lungi...Me tujhe promise karti hu ke main apni taraf se koi gadbad nahi karugi(jaise mujhe karne ki zarurat hai, ye pehli kalakari hai jisme mujhe zara bhi mehnat karni nahi padegi)
Gopi: Theek hai raashi ben
Gopi goes outside and starts serving everyone.
Raashi in the meantime is preparing something (sorry dunno wat is the name of the dish...its raashi's creation afterall...just know that it is with lots of Chillies and pepper)
All the male members except Ahem, starts leaving after having brkfast.
Anita: Arre aap sab jaa rahe hai, raashi jo bana rahi hai wo khaake jaaiye na
Jigar(quickly): Nahi anita tum hi khao.
Chirag and jigar leave(they actually ran from MB) for the office and ahem is just about to go wen anita says " ahem ruk jao na me akeli kaise khao"
Ahem looks at anita thn at gopi and says "tum akeli kaha ho anita, gopi aur kaki hai na yaha aur raashi bhi aane wali hai tumhara naashta leke, Gopi mujhe kaam hai me kamre me rahuga kuch zarurat hongi to bulana" and looking towards anita says "ho sake to disturb mat karna"
Anita thinks "did ahem say that to me. No ways ahem cant talk to me like that. He must be saying it to gopi"
After ahem leaves raashi enters the dining area and keep a dish in front of anita
Raashi:ye meri specialty hai...aajtak modi parivaar me se kisine nahi khaya hai...aaise bhagya sirf tumhe prapt hua hai balike.
Anita: Kya
Raashi: Mera matlab hai maine ye dish apne ghar me banayi thi...mummy ko itni pasand aayi k unki aankh me se aansu aa gaye, khushi ke
Gopi: Raahiben aap
Raashi(interrupting gopi quickly): tujhe bhi pasand aaya tha na gopi...khao na anita
Gopi: pan raashiben.
Raashi: Gopi shayad ahemjiju tujhe bula rahe hai...unko kisi cheez ki zarurat hongi
Gopi /Anita: Ahem/ahemji ne bulaya
Gopi quickly says anita ben aap naashta kijiye me dekh kar aati hu
Anita takes the first bite of the food. Her first reaction is to spit it out but looking at hetal's face she had to swallow the vile dish. Her tongue is on fire and her eyes starts watering. She can feel smoke coming out of her ears
Raashi: Kaisa hai anita...arre tumhare aankh me se bhi aansu aa gaye ... bilkul mummy ki tarah ...tumhe pasand aaya na
Anita: haan bahot(gulps) achcha hai
Raashi: To aur lo na, maine ye sab tumhare liye banaya hai.
Saying this she dumps everything on anita's plate.
Anita (Gulps and makes a face): nahi raashi bas ho gaya
Raashi: Arre khao na , sharmao mat
Hetal: Khalo na dikra, tumhe theek bhi to hona hai
Anita: Par aunty
Raashi: Maine itni mehnat ki hai anita plzz khao na
Anita(mutters):itni mehnat ki to ye bana hai...achcha hai aur mehnat nahi ki
Raashi: tumne kuch kaha
Anita: Nahi to
And under the watchful gaze of hetal and rashi she finished her food
By the time she left the dining area, her stomach is on fire, it feel as if her intestines have been burned.
She runs to her washrooom and starts retching.
Gopi in the meantime goes to her room, she is limping badly now...her feet are bloody and her vision is wavering.
She enters the room and sees ahem working
Gopi: Ahemjii aapne bu...
For a second everything blacked out and she stumbled.
Ahem: Kya hua gopi
Gopi: Kuch nahi ahemjii, Me maji ke kamre me hu, aapko zarurat ho to bula lena
Ahem: Theek hai.
Gopi went towards kokila's room thinking "sambhalo apne aap ko gopi. Maaji ko meri zarurat hai. Me ab bimar nahi ho sakti.
She composed herself and went to look after kokila.
2 hours later ahem
finished working. He got up and went to the window and starts thinking.
" I didnt enquire about mom even once. Gopi came and went twice and both the time i didnt ask about mom. (starts mussing his hair)First time i was too busy looking at her to string words together and form a sentence and the second time she left quickly, I cud have called her back, but i didnt, yy is that, i remember b4 my marriage wenever mom was ill, i never left her side and now, i dont even bother to enquire. wat happened now , why am i behaving like this...kyunki dikra mom ka khayaal gopi rakh rahi hai. Aur tum jaante ho ke wo mom ko kuch hone nahi dengi...
Ahem is still standing near the window deep in thought wen anita arrives
Anita:Ahem
Ahem thinks (not her again, ye fir baat karne aa gayi, ye kitna baat karti hai...thakti nahi...din bhar chapad chapad chapad...kya ye pehle se aisi thi ya fir ab ho gayi hai...aur agar pehle se thi to maine notice kyu nahi kiya)
Turning towards anita ahem replied "ahem mujhe icecream khaane bahar jaana hai tum saath chaloge"
Ahem thinking (is she mad, i m staying at home coz mom is injured, and she wants to go out now and have icecream...wats wrong with her
Ahem: Nahi anita me nahi aa sakta...par tumhe is waqt icecream kyu khaani hai.
Anita: wo ahem maine naashte me kuch zyada hi spicy khaana kha liya.
Ahem: wat(starts coughing) U actually tasted wat rashi made.
Anita raashi ka khaana zaaykedaar nahi dhamakedaar hota hai. Tum pagal ho kya. Achcha ek kaam karo meethi ko bolu wo tumhe kuch de dengi.
Anita: Theek hai ahem.
In Kokila's room Raashi enters and sees gopi massaging kokila head.
Raashi: Gopi kakiji ki tabiyat ab kaisi hai
Gopi: Ab theek hai raashi ben
Raashi: Achcha sun Gopi. Mujhe tujhse kuch poochna hai.
Lekin ab nahi lunch k baad. Jaa jaake ahemjiju ko bula la
Gopi: Ji raashi ben
Gopi is about to leave her room wen she remembers that she had to give medicines to her maaji.
She is about to give the medicine wen she recalls how meethi became ill after she gave expired medicines...she shivers remembering meethis condition. She knows she can now read and write , but she is scared that something will happen to her maaji. So she decided to let ahem chck the medicines once. Picking up the medicines she makes her way towards her room.
She went to her room and sees ahem near the window and calls out "ahemji"
Ahem: Haan gopi bolo.
Gopi: Wo ahemji maaji ki dawaiyaan aap chck kar denge, kahi galat to nahi.
Ahem: tum kyu nahi karti.
Gopi: Wo ahem ji main
ahem then remembered the anniversary fiasco and says.
Ahem: Achcha koi baat nahi batao.
Gopi gives the medicines to ahem
Ahem: Haan sahi hi hai mom ko de do
Gopi: Ji ahem Jii, auur ahemjii khana paros diya hai. aap aake kha lijiye.
Gopi was on her way downstairs wen she heard raashi calling her name. She hurried downstairs and met meethi on her way.
She asked meethhi to give medicines to kokila.
Meeti left and went towards kokila's rooms, she encounters anita on the way.
Anita: Meethi kaha thi tum , achcha suno mujhe ice cream dongi.
Meethi: Anitaben bas 10 min nani bhabhi ko ye dawaiyaan de du.
Anita: Gopi kaha hai, wo kyu nahi de sakti.
Meethi: Anitaben wo
Anita: Arrre me to bhul gayi k gopi uneducated hai. Tum Jao
