Cyclone Koki was in top form today, she barged into Gohem's room, snatched the phone out of Ahem's hand and torn a strip off him and Gopi. In the process she demolished Ahem's house of lies. Today's victims were Ahem and Gopi, both were left with tears and devastated faces.
Here we have Ahem, a grown man who is a husband and a businessman, and he cowers at the sight of his angry mother and gets tears in his eyes. Koki is a powerful figure and her being disappointed in him cuts him to the heart. Following right on the heels of Kinjal's trip to jail, Koki is very angry & disappointed in her two offspring and she must feel like she raised a liar and a cheat.
One thing I liked was when Koki started blaming Gopi, Ahem stepped in and defended her. Good for you Ahem, before you would just stand silently by while Gopi got ripped to shreds, now you defend your wife, even if it means going up against your mother.👏
I loved the following scenes:
1-2: When Gohem looked at each other for support during Koki's tirade.
3-4: When Ahem placed a reassuring hand on Gopi as he could see how upset and hurt she was.
She stands by his side in times of trouble and he is letting her know that he feels her pain and that with him by her side everything will be okay.
4-6: The way he now notices the small details of Gopi's day to day life - her choosing between two saris and him giving his opinion. Her smile showed how happy she was with his input and it further showed how connected these two are to each others thoughts and feelings. The same way she knew he was forgetting his handkerchief, he knew she was not sure which sari to wear. With time their bonds of love are growing and becoming stronger each day. You can clearly see the look of love in their eyes. The words "I love you" have not been spoken aloud but are words really necessary when you can gaze into each others eyes and know how the other feels?
