Shruts. As far as I am concerned this was neither a rant or useless talk. This is the first forum that I have joined too and it is definitely one of the better things I have done. Here I have read a lot of meaningful and thought provoking posts. I have read funny posts and even dabbled at a few funny posts myself. I adore SNS from evil Urshi to our very own gohem and really feel that I have embarked on their journey with them. I love the points of view that are posted and the discussion threads are most entertaining. I will scream, alongside you all, laugh, cry and say W*F every now and again. But most of all I am drawn to the forum members. They have been there to give me encouragement for my attempts at writing ff's and writing in general which my own family does not understand nor encourage. They have been there to support me, indirectly through pms and for that I am ever grateful. We may not choose our family but I am glad that I chose this one. 😆 Now see. You made me rant.😛

UMMM Why do I come to IF?
Well, I was in India in 2005 and used to watch Kaisa yeh Pyar then I moved back to USA & wanted to continue watching it so me & my sis we both stumbled upon IF. I was a silent reader initially then stared posting gradually. Rest as they say is history. I'm not a big soapy person just watch one or 2 soaps. After kaisa yeh pyar I stated watching Yeh rista made loads of friends and was head over heels in love with Naitik & Akshara but somehow lost interest and got busy at home and was completely out of Indian soaps. But then again started watching SNS from sep 2011, as it personified romantic rebellion & bravado😳

Whenever I start to watch, I like to talk abt it, with like minded people. It is fun to share insanity & travel to lallallala land together with same crazy bunch. I can be daring, different, impractical, have a imaginative vision and need not be play -it- safer here. Sometimes even I wonder...I'm guided by reason, facts and evidence, then why do we watch this nonsensical tale which gives us a sense of ennui! 😛 But whatever, I love and enjoy zillion shades of love & relationship shown in soaps. I feel I am more productive at work after a trip to the "Lovely Fantasy world of IF"😆

TV needs diversity, tolerance, debate and criticism to live that's why we are here...just my5cents

I joined IF long back n i remember how I was a huge fan of palkon ki chaon mein n used to spend a lot of time discussing stuff here n on fb... n the award i got was that i spoiled up my semesters...😉😆 well then after that I promised myself that i would never ever be involved with any other show.. in case of sns the attraction power is great n it makes me peek in this forum occasionally.. what i fear is that this attraction is increasing day by day which in turn is increasing the time i spend roaming about in this forum.. my mind says to stop it n my heart..my heart now has a corner for gohem which is creating problems for me😉😆

well i was going through a blog a few days back n came across a few lines which i've pasted on my desktop.. copying n pasting for u all...

All I mean is that just be more constructive with your lives. Respect yourself and conduct yourself with dignity and maturity. Make sure to do things that will make you feel good not just today, but ten years down the road that you actually did something constructive. Don't do things that someday down the road you might regret or consider the biggest waste of your life. It might be just the internet, its still your life.
