I am in awe of Giaa's acting. She has made Gopi's character come alive for us. She has become Gopi. Giaa has always been fantastic as Gopi, but I feel in the last three days (approx. 60 minutes of screen time) of Holi episodes, Gia has shown us she is truly a star. The ranges of emotions she has portrayed are beyond par and some actor can't show that even in a lifetime.
Her happy, but hesitant smiles and confusion at Ahamji's attention, her acting like a child while playing Holi, her anguished but happy tears at finally getting what she had waited for as Gopi, and the shy pleasure on her face at her husband's touch had me stare at her in awe.
Giaa's facial expressions and her body language are beyond comparison. When Aham tries to hug her in front of the temple and she runs away, she hesitates in cofusion first and then runs as Aham throws color at her. It was done so naturally. Her running around the MM like a child was a pleasure to watch.
Her eyes are her biggest asset and she uses them to convey all the emotions that her character feels. When she removes color from Ahamji's eyes and caresses him, her eyes are filled with so much love, that it is hard to believe it is not real. When Aham touches her in the bedroom, her eyes show her pleasure and at the same time, her tears reveal how she has craved for this moment. Her anguished happiness brings tears to all our eyes.
To me Giaa has become synonymous with Gopi. It is so hard to tell her apart and it is amazing to see the transformation when you see her outside the show since her real personality is so different. I say bravo Gia, take a bow, you are one of a kind; it is my privilege to watch you everyday👏
