I think it happened. They did, Aham had his Sherwani off.
Also because they cut the scene, it faded away after the hug, and Gopi's tears and all the kanahji cut backs, it was as if the CV's were showing that the SR was happening, and ringing of the ram/trumpet thing too...lol.
The CV's are not going to risk the fans turning off from SNS by making Aham unaware of the consummation. The lure of DABH is really strong to viewers because in that show kalakaries are being uncovered quickly and sorted out, whilst we have had only one uncovered, the only thing SNS is holding the fans with is with the cordial relationship of Gohem, as SR has happened and Aham not knowing it has, will cause tension between Aham and Gopi.
So Aham also knows it happened but He is regretting that the SR was not special enough for Gopi, he will come back and confess his undying love and tell her he is sorry that he made her first night like the way it was, he believes it's not special enough, but it was, she seems happy, and all that running around throwing rang and she hiding, Gopi was smiling and happy.
But he won't see it that way, he probably is thinking he wanted her to wear wedding finery and wait for him on a bed decorated in flowers just like they proper wedding night which he wasted, Gopi has been waiting enough and besides she had the decoration with no deflowering, now she has had the deflowering without flowers on the bed.
