One minute scene in the beginning and one minute at the end but said it all!
"You are the only person who can complete my life."
Ahem had only two things on his mind in the past- his mom and his work! But now there is one more addition to it - his wife. His life revolves around these three things only now.
He came out and saw his sherwaani instead of formals lying on the bed. And got surprised for a while! For he had simply forgotten that today he had to be at home for the puja. How could he remember when all the time Gopi is on his mind...same way when she kissed him and he had forgotten everything , his mind going blank with the unforgettable pleasure! This is what love does to a person, being forgetful all the times! And so is love playing now on him!
When Gopi made him remember, he got suddenly pleased at the idea of being at home with her. But when she said she had to go down for some work, he felt disappointed! For as she was going, he looked at her with such expectant eyes! His mind works fast in making plans and he is a quick thinker, so he took no time in concluding on how to spend the few minutes he has early in the morning with her, but he got very very disappointed seeing her going away!
It must have been very hard on him staying upstairs without her for he doesn't like being alone at any point of time now. So the moment he came down, he was already in despair and was looking for her presence all around the place. She's the only thing on his mind, even more strongly when he's at home now.
And when his brother noticed his tension, he decided to approach and help him, just the way he's doing for him now-a-days. Upon realizing that he's been caught, Ahem surrendered, as if putting his hands up! Almost saying "here I go again, and no defense this time!". He looked so in love and didn't pretend denying it a bit.
"For you see, each day I love you more
Today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow."
After being shown by Jigar where she is, he looked at her immediately without feeling self conscious and felt so glad. Finally relieved at her acknowledging his presence! Now home for him means her presence by his side is a must and can't stand being alone for a moment without her. He needs to know where she is and that's enough to relax him!
"Soul-mates are people who bring out the best in you. They are not perfect but are always perfect for you."
Upon finding her and feeling peace of mind, he turned around to silently thanks his brother for helping him out with this though small, but in a way, big gesture of his! Quite a contrast to the relationship they had previously! And this is just due to one selfless soul he's staying with all the time now, so these changes are bound to happen!
But then he returned to his reserved shy self and even little scared of his naughty brother now-a-days. Who knows he might start teasing him again so thought it better to go from there and protect himself and his sanity. And be able to look at her where those eyes of his brother won't be there to make him drown in embarrassment on being caught again!
Love makes your soul crawl out from its hiding place!
Are the days of waiting gone for his beloved? For she has started giving him acknowledging smiles! Have they indeed come a step closer coz of just a day of separation? What would be the other thing that would trigger another spark in their journey of recognizing each other as their better halves?đ
