From the moment Ahem realised Gopi was not at home, he had missed her in the night & has continued to miss her in the morning as well !!! At work when Jigar wanted to discuss about a project he confidently called his employee assuming to be Gopi for the file. He was completely immersed in her thoughts that he did not realise where he was untill he was reminded by his employee that she was Indu. He had to actually look around the surroundings to realise he was at work. The ease at which he had taken her name showed how much he was comfortable with her & her thoughts which have now become an integral part of him. Gopi & her thoughts have taken him up completely that nothing else mattered. Twice he was teased by his brother.. when he saw Jigar smiling at his goof-up the 1st time he tried diverting the topic & the 2nd time when Jigar reminded him that he was having hi-cups because somebody was thinking about him, his eyes widened at the thought on how did Jigar know his inner thoughts & justified his hi-cups with another reason.
Ahem was not comfortable being teased upon but he knew that by his own reactions Jigar understood what he felt for Gopi & was having a go at him. In the past when Jigar tried to tease him in the similar way with his thought & actions being for Gopi, he denied strongly that it had nothing to do with Gopi. Today though he was being teased for the same reason, he did not deny the reason !!!
At work Ahem was again reminded about Valentine's day by an employee who had requested him permission to go leave office early as he was newly married & wanted to spend sometime with his wife. Ahem though intially did not agree but with Jigar explaining he agreed to allow the employee leave early but warned him that in future such requests will not be entertained. In the past when Jigar wanted to gift Rashi, Ahem was not happy & expressed complete displeasure with what Jigar was doing. It was then when he had no feelings for her. From then to till date his feelings underwent a sea change & with this change is he able to understand from another person's view. Today though he did not agree, he was calm in expressing his view point.
With Jigar brining in the news that the meeting is being postponed & asking him to go get Gopi back, he thought about the situation at hand. He so missed her that he wanted to get her back to him. Though he wanted to be the one who wanted to go & bring her, his mom volunteered in the morning that she will go & bring Gopi. With the opportunity clearly visible, he immediately put his plan into action, called home & left a message for his mom that he is going to pick Gopi. Ahem did not waste a moment & could not wait another second to see her.
Both laid eyes on each other at the same time, she dusting the house & he at the entrance...He saw she was frightened & tried to clean of the dirt on his shoulder first with her hand & then with her pallu. He held her hand to calm her down & told her it was ok & not to be frightened. He was so lost in her & as she still tried to explain, he knew she would not listen & raised a tone a very small decible to tell her it was ok. Ahem knew from past experience & also by just looking at her face her reactions...today he tried to put her at ease when she was sacred of his reaction. Ahem knew that because of his past reactions she was scared on how he would react & tried to tell her it was fine with him & he was not mad at her for it. Ahem stood there seeing & holding her as his heart was longing to be with her, she also stood there absorbing him being there. He was so lost in her that when she tried to explain he told her firmly that it was fine with him. Ahem realised today that his wife is scared around him & he needs to get her feel comfortable with him & only he can do it.
Today in her peehar, he gave utmost respect to the place & to the people she grew up with. He respectfully greeted her mami & asked her about her health. Similar to the past he told her mami that he has come to pick her up. In the past Gopi saw him & hid herself & when he was asked to come inside by her maamaji he refused & said he will wait for her in the car. In contrast to the past, today he spoke to her directly asking her to get her things which bought a small smile to her lips & told her that he was waiting for her in the house. As she went to collect her things, he looked around the house she grew, made small talk with her mami & as she came out, he saw her telling her mami to take care & her mami expressing how hardworking Gopi is. Wishing her maami to take care of her health, he took her away from her peehar. In future , will he ever send her to peehar?
All thru out he kept observing time & was in a hurry to go back. Was it a simple gesture or does the gesture have any deep meaning !!! Has he planned anything for the 1st special day in their lives or is it just that he had to leave early???
