What Kokilla has not realised is that in her aim to make up for a non-working husband she pushed Ahem to the extent that all it matters was work...but in the overall process the feelings side of Ahem was pushed out ...Now with Gopi that part of Ahem is awakening & that is the change which Kokilla is unable to see...

For Kokilla if work is in place then other things she could handle...hence Gopi was choosen as she would not demand anything even time from Ahem...while Anita & Rashi would have wanted time & efforts & energy from her Ahem !!!

One thing which Kokilla did not take into account is that she ensured that her DIL was selected carefully but she did not estimate the power of love when it triggers what will it make the person do??? She knew even if the power of love was triggered in her DIL, her son will control it...but the power of love has triggered in her son & that is triggering the balance not in her favour !!!

Looks like the tables will turn soon because Gopi will effect Ahem whether Koki likes it or not. Does she not realize that her selfless and undemanding DIL has managed to calm Ahem's rigid demeanor? 😈 😈

navya.. amazing analysis ...though not gohem...but of koki...

the last para is so perfect navya...

she saw them as Son-DIL...but never seen the thread that binds them as husband-wife..

she saw the connection between the two through her ...but being husband and wife they will have the connection of love, trust and respect through their hearts...which she could not see..

lets wait and see how she will handle the new relation of love and respect between her son and DIL

p.s:.it's 2 a,.m. till now me and hubby were watching mere brother ki dulhan... just now was about switch off saw ur thread ...couldn't resist...

I am going to stay positive and on Koki's side until I am absolutely sure CV's are determined that she be negative. Cannot see any reason why they would change one of the most popular characters on SNS but anyways.

I have watched that scene where Gopi promised Koki not to worry Aham blah blah blah. And perhaps you guys could look at it again.

To me the expression on Koki's face was that of frustration. It was like she wasn't getting what she wanted from Gopi. Here she was wanting GoHam to worry about their own relationship and not involved themselves in RaJig. So she did what she had to to make them know that. And Gopi's reaction is not what she wanted. She doesn't want Gopi to stay away from Aham. She wants them together. But this bloody fool gets the wrong message all-together and decides to start avoiding him.

Koki's face was like W*F must I do to drum some sense into your head girl! Here you are giving up on your relationship all over again. When all I wanted was for you to stop running after your sister and stop Aham from being distracted from his work by your nonsense.

Anyways like I said guys watch it again and look at Koki's face carefully. Let me know what you think.

Agree. On friday episode when Gopi was promising Kokila that she will stay away from Ahem Koki's eyes were like she felt bad that she was again hurting Gopi something like that. May be as you said she was frustated as she was not expecting this promise and thinking how to put some sense about Rashi in her head.

Yeah for Koki she never let that connection bind stongly with her husband & hence she assumes it will be the same with her son...she failed to see that her son is an individual with his own decisions to be made...the past of Gohem with Ahem not able to stand Gopi & only thru her that they had been living together is also another thought which she has...

Navyab ,excellently put forward Kokis character. Everything you have written is so true. Exactly Koki never thought that Ahem would have feelings which is not acceptable to her .
