Maddy.. I am sorry.. But that is too unfair.. Agree that a wife takes her place beside her husband. But that day, Kokila was of the opinion that she was going to fly the kite with Ahem and when she found him with Gopi, she felt disappointed. She is open with her feelings and does not hide them. She was not jealous of Gopi. How can she be? This is the same girl who she helped come near her husband.
As a mother it pinches your heart when you see your children move away from you. That was shown by Kokila. She should be given at least that much right to feel a little sad.
As for not being a mother to Gopi, I will post the same thing I wrote in Bhavya's thread. A mother is not one who always lovingly tells you to lead your life, a mother is the one who when she knows that the children are wrong, deal with them harshly if necessary. It is because only a mother will hurt when her children fail not the others. So if it is harshness that does the job, so be it..
