The whole family is struck by shock. None said a word. Mani pleads everyone to hear what had happened. Baa is not ready to listen.She asks them to leave the MM immediately. Mani pleads Koki to let them explain.
Koki asks "What is there to explain more?"
Mani "Ji, Jiju didn't intentionally abduct Rashi bhabhi..."
Rashi, "Hah! I know that...Kakiji they misunderstood me to be someone else DIL...But even after knowing that I'm Modi's Bahu they didn't leave me..."
Koki, "So what? Still, abducting someone is to be punished...What your jiju did is wrong and a crime"
Meethi "Ji, You are right...But he did it because he was deceived by that Dheewan family"
Chirag, "Dheewan family?!?"
Meethi continues,"Yes Mota bhai, he was so ambitious to become a film star...So he didn't go for any other job...As Mani behen said he used to borrow money from people and was in debt. Last year, he ran away from our village with 3 of his friends.Once he had said to me that he helped one wealthy man named Dheewan long back and he would make him a film star. I didn't take it seriously. But then when I saw him in jail, he said to me that Dheewan had cheated him and taken away a huge amount of money from him. Since he didn't have any proof for the
money he gave, my pathi couldn't fight back or claim for his money. So he decided
to get back the money in some way and atlast decided to abduct Dheewan's DIL
with his friend's help. When he came to know that he had abducted Modi's DIL he
didn't know what to do...He was blindfolded by the great need of money...and did
this mistake".
Meethi then moves to Rashi and apologizes. She says "Rashi Bhabhi Believe me...My pathi remorsed for what he did...He wants to apologize to the whole family..But we are afraid to tell you all the truth...thats why we kept quiet."She cries hard and is about to zonk out.
Meethi comes and holds Gopi's hands and apologises for her husband's mistake.Gopi's pure soft heart melted. She goes near Baa and says, "Baa, You use to say that wife should always live with her husband and support him in all phases of his life. Meethi behen's husband did a mistake but he realised his faults...He repents for it...Why dont we exculpate Gunda Bhai..." Koki is about to say something. At that moment Ahem caught hold of Gopi's hand
"Ahemji woh..."
"Chup ek dam chup"
and takes her away to their room from there.While climbing up the stairs he remembers her injury in hand and releases her hand but makes a strong hold of her shoulders and drags her to their room. This time, he doesn't care about the family's reaction ...he doesn't worry about what his mom would say. Gopi didn't utter a word. He took her inside their room and locked the door.
Baa is touched by Gopi's emotive speech. Baa instructs Mani to take Meethi to the servant's room as she is half unconscious and asks the elders to come to her room. Rashi is annoyed. She doesn't want to excuse Gunda Bhai.
In Baa's room, Baa asks for the opinions of the others. Chirag says "Gopi was acually hurted by Meethi's husband...But she herself is ready to forgive him. Moreover he is repenting for his act. Lets forgive him, Baa".Hetal and Parag nod in approval.Baa turns towards Koki.Rashi who moved to kitchen, becomes embittered.
Jigar calls out for Rashi. She is surprised and sees him standing near the stairs.After a long time, she saw warmth in Jigar's eyes.
Jigar, "I 'm amazed that you helped Kaki"
"Yeah, woh..."
"Shhh!"
and he hugged her. Rashi couldn't believe this.
She whispers,"Jigarji, is it a dream?"
He pinched her cheeks, which at once turned red. They both again hugged tightly.
Meanwhile,in Gohem's room:
(Resumes from "He took her inside their room and locked the door. ").
"Ahemji"
"Chup!...How can you be like this Gopi...Why do you always put others' happiness before your happiness and basic comforts? Dont you know that your happiness is my happiness..You care for Mom, Rashi, your Mami, and so many other people...even for Meethi and Gunda Bhai who hurted you...But dont you care for me? Do you know how much i was hurted and aggrieved when that ceiling and bamboos fall on you? Did you know how much pained i was when you laid unconcious? Do you know the agony i went through when you were in my lap bleeding all over in the ambulance? Are you aware how it was tormenting when i saw you in the operation theatre?Do you know How my Heart broke when the doctors lost hope?...All the time you were unconcious not knowing about my distress. Only after you regained your consiousness, I felt relieved from the fear of losing you Gopi...Dont you know that YOU ARE MY LIFE?"...Ahem sat on the bed.
Gopi stands there speechless. Tears sparkled in her eyes. She goes near Ahem and sees tears in his eyes. She holds his hands "Ahemji..". Ahem hugged her and Gopi hugged him back. After noticing her response, he kissed her on her forehead,eyes,cheeks and then kissed her lips.
