The symbolic Pass - From Koki to Ahem

Today was a fantastic episode again!!! One moment is etched in my mind. It was for just 2 seconds. Ahem stepped forward and supported Gopi and Koki let go of her..
It was symbolic to say the least. I think our Ahem now has assumed total responsibility and support for Gopi.

Till just a few months ago and till now in their marriage, Gopi's support system in Modi Bhavan has been Kokila. She has been there to help Gopi all along when her husband would not even look at her. Now we are at a stage where Ahem eagerly wants to step into the shoes that his mom had temporarily put on. I think now at least internally he wants to be the person Gopi turns to every time she needs something. Hence his act of holding her today and the precap where he is seen insisting that he was right.. Gopi was weak. He KNOWS more about her than the others :)
However I am happy. I do not feel this will lead to a showdown between mom and son, I think Koki will take it in her stride.. Even a showdown will just be to make Ahem realize his obsession and teach him about balance.. Not for anything else. Note that

1. Looking closely at her face when Ahem held on to Gopi when leaving the park. Koki is surprised and happy.
2. She was not immediately irritated by Ahem's outburst in the precap.

Yes. There are going to be testing times for the mom-son relationship. But I think Gopi will play the role as the mediator and fix both in her own simple ways. 😃 I am excited!!!!

Yeah ...Ahem today had taken Gopi's responsibility which he never wanted in the past...

Yeah I also think gopi will make sure they both understand she is not going to take away kokis place but rather make a place for herself.she will neva come between the two ppl she loves the most

Totally agree with you. The clash that we all are talking about does not mean that Kokila will be against the relationship.

That was really lovely scene. Although I felt like ahem overcame his guilt when she fell due to him.
He immediately took over gopi like she is only mine and noone dare touch her😆
I also felt gopi is also used to his touch as she didn't make faces then. She is enjoying the moment as well😆

I think she is getting comfortable when he touches her in public. She used to be embarrassed and so was he.. But today both were beyond thinking such stuff today. I think Ahem was jumping in his own Lala land thinking "She walked.. She walked.." and finally "Mom let go off her.. Now I can hold her in peace till the car.. Yuppie.." and Gopi was in hers.. Maybe with .. "I walked.. Ahemji is here for me.. I walked..Thank you Kanhaji..Atleast now you gave him some sense" 😆
