There was Gopi,with the family smiling and happy,what was she doing here?,omg why am i so happy?"Gopi,i need to talk to you importantly" muttered Ahem.
"Ji"
Gopi had just arrived and was fondly talking to her maaji and Hetal kaki,she missed them so much and they were finally in front of her but she was upset.Her maaji looked unwell and she possibly couldn't leave without her maaji being well could she?,no her heart wouldn't allow it!,she had to stay atleast till her maaji felt better.Gopi hadn't realised it but she was argueing with her mind whether to stay for her maaji or not and Ahem heard it,it made him smile,she was just adorable,always unselfish,she was even thinking of mom now.
"Gopi,voh,listen carefully,i wanted to say,well umm you can stay here if you want"..
Gopi looked up surprised,her eye's gleamed but she never smiled,her Ahemji always had his moodswings,sometimes tanda sometimes garam!
"Ajeeb hai (its weird),sometimes he's so nice and sometime's he's so sweet.what a dragon" said Gopi smiling.
"Kya!?,tumne mujhe dragon kaha!?,how dare you?!" said Ahem controlling himself not to laugh but unsuccessfully.
Gopi and Ahem had an eyelock and started to laugh,Gopi laughed so openly,she looked so beautiful,
"omg wow she is so hot!?,she looks so pretty laughing"
"kanhaji,Ahemji looks so beautiful laughng doesn't he,kanhaji,please make him always remain smiling!"
"Gopi,i wanted to talk to you,i have so many questions,since when have you become so open?"
"Woh Ahemji,the past weeks have been tough,i had to live alone,i live in a small flat where i go and earn money from Tejasji,he's very nice,he's been such a support,giving me a job helping to stitch on embroidary to look after myself,i also learned English properly,and im living but i constantly remember maaji and the family,since than,Tejasji has kept me company and become my best friend😃"
Ahem was happy at Gopi's recent changes,it was great for her but one thing constantly bugged him.
"Gopi,didn't you miss me?"
This was the hardest question for Gopi,She got up from the bed and walked to the open window,it was drizzling with rain and she put her hand on the window sill.Ahem followed her eager to hear her reply.
"You were the hardest thing to get over,i tried to so many times so that Anitaji can come into your life,i've always convinced myself that Anita will give you the happiness that you deserve,the happiness i could never give you..im sorry Ahemji,i couldn't be a very good wife and im just tired,i can't do this anymore".
Gopi broke down,she cried her heart out and Ahem felt gult and despair build up until his urge to protect her and he hugged her.
"Im sorry Gopi,im so sorry Gopi,i don't know why but i feel so weak,i just i don't know my feelings for you,i just,i can't stop thinking about you,i don't know,im sorry!,Gopi,never ever leave me alright"..
"Ahemji,thank you so much,but your such a karela,sometimes angry and sometimes happy but your my karela!😊"
"Gopi,from now on,were going to be husband and wife,but we'll start from friendship and than lead it on tooo"
"Ahemji" Gopi giggled!
Ahem chuckled and kissed Gopi on the cheek.
"Ahemji,maaji looks so pale and ill,what happened to her?,i'll be right back"
Ahem smiled and watched Gopi.
"Gopi"
"Raashiben,how are you" gleamed Gopi.
Raashi ran to Gopi,"Gopiii,how are you, missed you sooo much pagli,you don't know how much i missed you!"
"Raashiben,how's devarji,is he okay?"
"Bhabhi im right here"
Jigar came smiling and hugged Gopi!
