Kalakaris are hurting Ahem the most, I think

Gopi's actions (or lack thereof 😔) are forgotten by viewers over and over again because she is so naive, has no self confidence, and blindly trusts her cousin and Mami no matter how bad they have been to her in the past.. so on n so forth... She has viewer's sympathy because we are privy to Rashi and Urmila's dark side... And then Kokila, the terror queen's actions are usually justified because most of the time she is shown as no non-sense and fair person ... She has been Gopi's biggest support in Modi Mansion and that's why Gopi and us viewers forgive her whenever Kokila is being somewhat unjust.
But for the life of me, I can't figure out why are CVs hellbent on making Ahem the bad guy here? This is my understanding that he has strong aversion towards illiterate people. I am not sure why and when he developed such strong feelings against illiterate people but he does... And then he gets married to one... DAMN!! I am pretty sure Ahem was mad beyond words... And I dont blame him for feeling that way - I, for one, not only want my husband to be literate but at least as educated as I am ... However, if my parents (for some unfathomable reasons) got me married to someone uneducated, I would be disappointed, angry, upset, shattered and what not but wouldn't lash out like Ahem did and still does...I will try to make the best of the situation ... But then again, if my husband washed my laptop, I might just throw a hissy fit or two before working on my marriage... In this highly biased show though, Ahem is so focused and committed to his work that he almost comes across as a walking-talking robot... He is perfectionist, so are Gopi and Kokila but his nitpicking habits make him look arrogant .. Although I think he has a bit of OCD - wiping the seats before sitting in the autorickshaw šŸ˜•...
Even though I know Urmila and Rashi are behind every Kalakari, I still feel perplexed and frustrated with Gopi for mindlessly falling into their trap... Ahem, who doesn't know any of this, has got to wonder why things go wrong wherever Gopi goes... It is not just her illiteracy but anything that she does or plans on doing ... Thanks to Rashi, Ahem doesn't have very many happy moments of his married life to cherish... I know, God helps those who help themselves... well if that were true, then Gopi would have turned her life around long time ago... or after her marriage to Ahem, with her mother in law on her side... but who does Ahem go to? The problem solver in him finally woke up and he took it upon himself to educate his wife but eventually Gopi's bulls**t (which only we know is Rashi's doing) gets to you!! CVs need to bring A LOT of positive changes to his character...

Hi NRChau!
I think that Ahem has gone through a lot of positive and progressive changes since supporting Gopi with her studies. He's done things that many of us would never have expected - the CVs certainly surprised us there. Many of us were predicting that as soon as Gopi finished her exam, she would walk out feeling exhuberant and happy, with Ahem by her side. None of us expected (at least i know i didn't) that Gopi would be feeling abysmal and crying (well it is Gopi, so the crying's not a surprise!) and Ahem reverting back to the angry and insulting person we always see. So maybe that is what the CVs are trying to do - to keep up guessing! Have hope as they're starting to show a lot more depth to Ahem's character now, beyond the baddie!

Which is more than can be said for Rashi, who the writers only want to keep as a 1 dimensional character who'se only ever the baddie. It would be great to see Rashi showing more depth by holding fire on the kalakaris for a few days and bringing out a more positive side to her - eg softening towards Jigar or allowing Gopi to realise that she wasn't the cause of her parents death, maybe even explaining to her that she was wrong. I think It would make the show more interesting...hmm!?!

Wouldn't that be awesome @ positive changes in Rashi's character!!! I have a lot of cousins and there are times when one or all of them get on my nerves n sibling rivalry kicks in but never, ever I can imagine that one of my cousins would do what Rashi does, even in the heat of a moment... It would be so nice for Gopi to have Rashi on her side or maybe less interference from her! But CVs are thinking of dragging this show for at least 3-4 years... This year they are addressing Gopi's illiteracy... Ahem's role as supporting husband maybe the focus next year n everything in between is just plain ol' senseless tricks!!
I just feel so bad for Ahem and Mohammad Nazim!! Up until Janmashtami, he was non existent on this show! No wonder he has never won any awards - he doesn't get enough screen time... Hopefully in future he gets the recognition he truly deserves!

I do the same.
There have been a few episodes that have had no Ahem in them at all and I always feel like it's been a waste of my time. So then I'm looking at VM's.
Over the past couple of days since the disappointment of the exam i've been rewatching Gopi tending to Ahem's wounds - he looks gorgeous sat there letting his wife look after him!

Yup@ Anj4 & Nazma... It is only because of these wonderful vms and fanfics on this forum that I am still following this show !! There is so much talent here that I almost forget how ridiculous the actual story line is..

Every individual thinks of getting an life partner who share same interests and equally qualified... may be Aham is right in his stand ... even though his heart do melt for Gopi in some case and situation,,, but Rashi's kalakaaris will pave the way for Gopi Aham to distant from each other...

Ya Neeti, there is so much potential in this show if the writers would show anything but Rashi plotting evil schemes but I guess it is too much to expect of them...
