after what rashi told her on her b'day..rather than what the contents the way rashi practically threatened her telling her not to tell any1 abt her b'day as it was a day full of misfortune n that gopi's birth is cursed:((
n here she is all worried n is still jumping up to care for rashi!

grr..i don't know if i want to kill rashi or shake gopi up! n that is what i am basically confused about!😆

I know she is frustrating, she doesn't learn from having spent nearly all her life with Rashi that she is evil. But that is her personality she want everyone happy, she will sacrifice her happiness so she makes someone else happy...she believes when people are bad the answer is to be good to them.

copy n paste now.

I used to get major frustrated with her, and to be honest I probably will again also...lol...but remember we recently saw her deny twice she doesn't want to study at the dinner table (when Chirag was arguing with Kokila) and in the hall (when Kokila was arguing with Aham) similarly when an argument was about to start between Kokila and Aham at breakfast she took the blame for Aham not sleeping early when she wasn't at fault he was working...So Gopi is the sacrificial lamb, she will take the blame or be disadvantaged so others are living carefree and easier lives. What has this got to do with this situation, well Urmila and Rashi not wishing Gopi happy birthday would lead to problems in the house, Kokila, Jigar and Hetal will treat Rashi and Urmila differently as they will know that they don't care at all about Gopi, so she stayed mum so that they are not disadvantaged, do they appreciate it no they don't...you are probably thinking that's stupid as she's not appreciated for doing these cover ups, but at the same time she wants to avoid tension and arguments...she wants to make everyone happy.

So even if Gopi caught Rashi doing a kalakari on her she would forgive immediately, she would do nothing to that person. She doesn't care about herself...she would suffer anything but others mustn't suffer.

If I met someone like her in real life, I would probably shake them and force them to pick up the sword and defend themselves, because I think God wants us to find ways to help ourselves.

But others on the forum, a newbie called Julia, mentioned that through Gopi's goodness is the key to Aham's heart (I'm paraphrasing). So her goodness will win over Rashi's evil behaviour.

Gopi's innocent is the beauty of her character...i agree. CV won't change her sweetness. Maybe they just change a little bit in terms of her fear around Ahem. After Ahem confess his love for Gopi, she will no longer afraid of him. Gopi's fear is the only thing make us feel irritated

I am sincerely hoping that Gopi finds some way of helping Rashi that doesn't involve her disappointing Ahem . He's just starting to consider her feelings and is thinking about her - having flashbacks and everything.
You know if Mani comes back soon Rashi won't have the excuse of doing all the work and not having time for Jigar so saying that I think it's time to bring back Mani... also what happened to the other servants? As far as i can remember there were two other ladies and two guys that worked for them too.

aahh..i know i know...this story better be different than the other shows n should show good triumph over evil at the end..but by not exactly punishing the evil but converting it to good..which means Aham n Rashi n may be mami too(ok i'm hoping for a miracle..anyway😆)it'll be a nice way to end the things..😳

i loved reading all the examples u have given of the moments that enlighten us about her character..
n even i most of the time 'try to' understand where Gopi is coming from rather than what i'd have done or what some1 else would have done in such a situation..cz Gopi's case is unique..her upbringing made her who she is..her essential self is pure as anything..n she'll always turn the other cheek rather than say 'no don't hit me'..so even thinking of her slapping back (i'm speaking figuratively ofcourse) is too far fetched..
she as u said avoids trouble for others..u know she is like the glue that binds everything..getting squashed in-between things, adapting according to whatever little space she is given or in whatever way she could to help mend some one else..she doesn't think her being happy matters..even if she is hurt beyond measure as long as she can see sm1 else is happy cz of her pain she'll smile through her tears n honestly be happy..

n i adore her due to all these mentioned reasons...but as u said i also do get frustrated with everything that is happening..

lol me n my best friend were watching it 2gether as she was over my place studying n even after seeing the precap twice she was telling (aloud lol) 'pls say no gopi n wlk away' again n again n i just laughed at her n said 'i'm not even gonna bother hoping 4 that right now cz this is rashi's turn!!' i mean i dnt feel like laughing at that time..but i was too drustrated 4 anything else so that is what i ended up doing!

u know Monyka that will happen over the time..i mean Gopi's fear for Aham reducing..but that will only happen when he starts to show her open affection, protect her from others like UrShi openly, keeping on standing up for her happiness, show her she has finally got some1 to depend on to care for her more than any1 else etc..

cz what i want to say is when she married Aham she wasn't scared of him.., she loved him, she was expectant..she was shy.. she was uncertain just like any other very young bride who is apprehensive of the life ahead with her new husband...she dreamed of him coming n touching her lovingly(remember her imagined scene).. the 1st 3 days of her life in MM she covertly glanced at him..blushed when she caught his eye, etec etc.. she was no different from any other young girl else who is very young n newly married...

what changed everything was the day he raised his hand on her and slapped her so hard that left a mark..it scarred her pretty deeply n she won't get over it until n unless he himself tried to shower love on her n heal her emotional wounds..
so it is not gopi's fault as i see..despite loving him n having hopes filled in her heart she is still scared of him..that is why she behaves like that always...
it'll be in aham's hands to change it not gopi's...
