Upset Kokila

Kokila is upset because of two things:

• Nani's words are still playing in her mind
• The days happenings:
Gopi not telling Koki immediately about her day at school
• Rashi getting praises for her cooking

Kokila feels:

• that school is changing Gopi and that she is losing the person she had first seen in Gopi - the submissive Gopi made the ideal DIL for her in MM
• that she is losing the reins in MM

What are your thoughts on Koki's reaction?

you have hit the nail on the bucket, kokila is worried that with gopi at school rashi will take over mm n then theres no turning back n her daughter in law will be pushed aside. eg rashi took over the puja whereas gopi should have been doing it. kokila has insisted that gopi does not let her studies affect her housework or responsibilities.

Also she does not want gopi to turn out like Rashi (Koki hate rashi because she always lies and can never do anything) to where gopi know how to take care of a house that is ...Cook , clean etc. ...

I agree, I think that kokila is afraid that rashi will turn out to be the better bahu in MM.

I totally agree with you, her biggest fear was Gopi becoming like Rashi and now she's afraid because it's happening

Agree, Koki is definately worried about losing control and in turn her status in the family.

yes kokki is definitely insecure...if not why should she opt for a unpad bahu in the first place knowing fully well her son would hate such a wife...so she was actually not looking out for a wife for her son, but for an obedient, subservient DIL who would be always at her command...until nani pointed out did kokki never realize that ahem and gopi were never in a relationship????she knew ahem hated the sight of gopi, but did nothing to rectify it, but when nani pointed out she had no other way other than to correct it...and what is she trying to prove by all these???that all educated people r liers and cheats????then why did she educate her own children???why not also leave them unpad????actually kokki is not bothered about ahem's happiness or whether his marriage life is happy, she wants a DIL who will obey her without even a squeak...but one thing is there, this character gopi whether pad or unpaad is the greatest fool existing in this world, so does not matter much whether she gets educated or not!!!!!
