I think he would have turned up in his room and look at some work, as he was doing, then when Gopi came she would have taken her night clothes and gone to change and would have told her to switch of the light after she finished putting her bed linen down...I would rather what happened happened, I'm actually sort of happy, we are getting movement in the storyline, Gopi needed a shock to get her out of feeling too secure as an illiterate, what happened with the expiry date and her admitting in front of everyone to the doctor that she couldn't read, has woken her up from a long slumber. Now she's on her toes again, on her mission to convince Kokila to educate her, and she has brought the wedding card too (brilliant plan Gopi...lol).

I think regardless Ahem would have found something to shout at Gopi for but at least with what happened to Mani happening Gopi has then taken the initiative to get educated

Ahem has the gene for shouting... I don't think he is happy until he shout at gopi... Poor gopi married a 🤬 .. Some women did marry ahems of this world... feel so sorry for gopi...
