Is Rashi even wrong?

OK so the sister duo is against each other for the very interesting and mysterious "sanduk". Well at least Rashi is. And in this whole fiasco, she has said a few very hurtful words to her dear sister Gopi. But can you really blame her? At some point, isn't she correct? Gopi's chances of being the "bahu" of the family or even staying a part of the family is very slim right now. So with what right is she taking interest in the Sanduk. In fact, it is suppose to hold something that might be valuable to family heritage and for the coming generations. Then in that case, right now Gopi is for from being a part of the family in the present time what makes her think she will be here for the future??? If Nani's wish was to keep her memories within the family and she wanted to pass it to the next generation, well then it should stay there. If Gopi gets it, who is she going to pass it too????? (Even if she gets married again (not), y would she carry the burden of her first marriage still in her heart??) So, Rashi's intentions are wrong, but what she is saying is a 101% correct in the current situation. Gopi's husband wants nothing to do with her, she will not be here for long, then y get hopes up and try to get the Sanduk only to be kicked out later????
