Part 3

Hi everyone, last I left you with both Ahem and Kokila's thoughts, so here is another part.

This part may containg lot of thought reflections and flash backs so bear with me.

So we start at the point where eveyone on going in for dinner, Ahem first things he notice Gopi continuing to work even with injured hand, and him still feeling guilty about the rocket, he wants to stop and yell at her to slow down, but holds him self back, but all thru dinner he keeps watching her to make sure she in not overdoing it.

He also notices him mother tensing up every time Urmila opened her mouth and wondering what happened when he was at the office, he decided to talk to him mother after every one leaves.

Finally dinner is over, evryone once gather out into the hall to set the engagement date of Kinjle and Elesh, Kinjle once again tense ( she looks really scarred), the engagement date is set for the following week, everyone is happy.

Gopi notices Kinjle and tense and scarred and wonders what is wrong, because she has observed Kinjle sneeking look at Elesh when she taught no one is looking (Our Gopi may not be educated but she is one observant lady and she is one smart cookie)

Ahem determined to figure out how to get out of the whole he dug for himself regarding Gopi\

Kokila determined to get the best for her kids and the daughter of her heart Gopi

Kinjle wondering who to turn for help, because the one person who could have helped her is the person she hurt the most (Gopi)

Evrything is quiet in the MM, eveyone should be sleeping at this hour of the night, after all it is midnight the bewitchig hour, but is evryone really sleeping? There are atlest four people in the house who can sleep because they have so much to think about

Kokila: Finally everything is going my way, Kinjle is going to marry in a great household, I am so proud of her, I pray to Kanaji her wedding goes without any problems (little does she know our Kanaji have few surprises for her before evrtything is settled)

Kokila flash back on the day she made Gopi promise to do whatever she said to calm her son down and feeling proud of her DIL for saying exactly what she told her.

Kokila back to present ready to put her next plan in action before Kinjle engagement.

Kinjle room she cannot sleep because she does not know how to get out the situation she has put herself in, at first she was determined to seprate Gopi and Ahem, because of Anita, but more she got to know both the brother sister duo the more she disliked them, at one point she was determined to break the ties , but they threatned her so much she had to keep doing what they told her. She was so happy on the day she met Elesh for first time, she thought she could finally get out the situation. She thought everything would be fine since she hadn't heard from Umang or Anita, so she started to spen time with Elesh getting to know him, but she did not know that, that is what umang and anita were waiting for, for her to fall in love with Elesh, so they could threaten her with his life, so she end up breaking up with him ruining family reputation and end up claiming to love Umang, and make the Modi family dance to their tune and string them along for the sake of family reputation, the wanted to take over the Modi family business empire, since they couldn't do it by Anita marrying Ahem. Umang was determined to take Modi empire and take revenge on Ahem.

Gopi in her room looking at her hand and remembering how gently Ahem had treated her tonight, and the way he looked at her and touched her is making her heart beat faster even now, at first she has a small smile playing on her lips, but she remembers again all the other times he treated her gently and looked at her with love in his eye and the next moment seeing is eyes fill with hatred she gets scarred and stops smiling. She is tense thinking about what his reaction would be to her the next day, and she decided she was going to forget all this and avoid him all togother. She is unaware that she is being observed by somone standing in the shadow outside of the door and they could see each expression on her face, because she is unable to hide anything, whatever she feels it always shows on her face.

Ahem is standing in the dark watching his wife, he wanted to check on her one more time before he went to sleep to make sure she is not in any pain, but what he observed on her face just now is making his heart ache, he prays that it is not to late for him to make things right with her.

He goes back to his room and lay down on the bed, but he knows he won't be able to sleep because his head is full of all the images of past from when he hurt his wife. He does not want to hide from what he did so lets the images play in his mind one by one, how mad he was when he found about the necklace, when he found about her not being educated, the snake incident and the the thief incident.

Part 4

Ahem still thinking out about all the wrong things he did to her, only to hide his love and attraction from her the most painful part for him was the time when she kept the vrat (fast) for his long life and he did not even appreciate that, why did not let his mom tell him the truth instead of overhearing the women't converstation in the kitchen the next day: FB Ahem was leaving for office, but then he remebers he forgot to tell his mom he was going to be late coming home that night since he had business meeting as he was approached the kintche he heard Rashi yelling at Gopi for breaking her fast, he froze in place thinking she claims to love me but she broke her fast and broke my mom's heart, but when he heard his mom that's when he realized the truth, he heard his mom tell Rashi and Hetal Kaki about how Gopi lied because Ahem did not want her to fast, but she still didn't want to dissapoint me either only thing she did was drank one sip of water in front of Ahem's picture in the mandir (temple), only reason she ate later was because I made her, she had passed out in the store room from hunger, but she never said anything, Ahem hearing this was shocked, his mom was also sounding tearful. He was unable to move from the spot, he had tears in his eyes thinking I keep telling Gopi not hurt my mom, but I am the reason she always ends up hurting. He heard Gopi reassure him mom and make her smile by saying Maji if somone comes in here and sees us all with tears in our eyes they are going to wonder what is going on, we can't even make excuse of cutting onions, since we are really not doing anything but standing around, everyone laughed at that and it had made me smile, he never knew his wife had a sense of humor. He waited to step into the kitchen to alert them because he did not want them to know he heard their conversation, when he walked in, he immediately saw Gopi turn her head and cover her head with the sari so he is unable see her, he became angry with himself for making her do this, he told his mom about the meeting but he wanted linger for a moment to see if he could get a glimpse of her face so he made excuse to him mom about wanting the check book, while his mom went to get the check book, he waited to see if Gopi would turn around but she never did, she was talking wIth Heatal Kaki and something Kaki said made her laugh, and he was surprised to hear the sound because he has never heard her laugh.

Ahem back to present he decided that he was going to make for all the wrong he has ever done to her and he was going to give in to his love and attraction to her, he falls asleep with a smile on his face thinking it was going to be most fun to seduce his wife and make her fall in love with him all over again.

Next morning he woke up with memory of the most delicious dream of him and his wife, he had a huge smile on his face, he got up and got ready and decided not to go to office that day since it was Saturday and he wanted to start in plan to make his wife comfortable with him. Everyone was gathered in the dinning hall for breakfast.

Kokila: Gopi vahu is breakfast ready and also how about Ahem's green tea he must be up, I will take it up to him.

Ahem: I am here mom, I decided to drink my tea here this morning

Kokila: giving him knowing look.

Gopi: Enters with several dishes on tray moving slowly

Kokila: notices Gopi seem to be in pain and ask what's wrong Gopi

Gopi: looks up, sees Ahem sitting wiht him mom quicly looks down turing her head away and says nothing maji I am fine

Ahem: angrily replies Phir jhoot bol rahi ho (after all our Ahemji is just that tempermental, bad habits are hard to break) but his only mad because she is trying to hide from him and trying to hide her injury to spare everyone.

Gopi: really scarred thinking here it comes, he is going to say I purposely jumped in front of the firecracker to gain everyone's sympathy, she is waiting for him to explose, heart racing.

Ahem: noticing this calms down and tell him mom about the firecracke incident, meanwhile evryone is at the table.

Kokila: Gopi vahu let me see your hand, why didn't u come and get me

Gopi: no reply

Ahem: mom she did not want everyone to worry, especially since Kinjle's in laws were here

Everyone surprise to hear this wondering how Ahem knew this and why was he speaking so softly now

Ahem: I dressed her wound last night and gave Mani medicine to give her

Everyone happy to hear this

Hetal: see Kokila she cares for everyone else but herself.

Kokila: looking at Ahem reply don't worry mota bhabhi I have a feeling we won't have to worry about Gopi vahu for too long

Ahem: flushing, know his mom feel his felling changing and just smiles at her

Hetal: looking confused at first, but notices the look between Kokila and Ahem and get very happy

Rash: angrily walks out of the dining hall.

Kokila: beta aaj tumhe office nahi jane (son you are not going to office today?)

Ahem: no mom, I am tired, I think I want to work form home today

After breakfast Ahem in his room working on the computer, his door left open to see if could get a glimpse of Gopi as she walks by, poor Ahemji, evrery time he hears a sound he thinks it her, but unfortunately its never her.

He is unaware that Gopi is purposely not coming up to avoid him, she promised her self she would stay away from him no matter how much it hurts.

In a another part of the house Kokila talking to her brother who lives in the US is very excited to hear they are coming for Kinjle wedding in two days and they will be staying at MM, they are also bringing their son's Fiance and her family.

Both family wants to shift back to India and establish their business there since the are partners and will be related, their kids have been in love with each other for long time and both families have known eachother from when they were in India.

Kokila's brother (Kishanji) also informed Kokila that their DIL (Shruti) to be also want to search for her childhood friend whom she lost touch with when she moved to America. And also its the same girl he and his business partners are looking for because she is their best friend's daughter. He says he will explain all when he arrives.

Kokila very happy because this gives her chance to bring Gopi and Ahem togother.

So what will Kokila do, Who is the girl they are searching for?
