Part 14

Aham is sitting in his cabin in office and is still thinking abt "What if Gopi is going to marry Shashank" and his cell rings which breaks his thought process. He looks at the cell reluctantly but picks it up with fast heart beat as its of Shashank.

Shashank: Hey Aham, how are u today...? hope u are doing gr8....do u remember I told u abt my Engagement......so consider this call as an Invitation and do come for party thats tomorrow evening from 7PM onwards.

Aham: Stunned, as he just had Glimpse of Gopi nothing else as soon as he heard Shashank and his engagement. but he replied yes in a choked voice.

Shashank: also dont forget to bring my Gorgeous Bhabhi....i want to meet her.

Aham again replies and excuses him abt some meeting and puts the phone down.

Shashank is smiling mischievously, while Aham has heart attack.

In kitchen Gopi is working but cant concentrate, cuts her finger with a knife and feels the pain so gets distracted from her reminder of her past. Pinky enters the kitchen and asks her to put medicine on her wound. Gopi leaves sadly and when she passes by the hall phone rings. Gopi picks it up and hears a well know voice from other side, which is of Aham.

Aham says hello, but Gopi cant reply anything, she just keeps the receiver in her hand and starts trembling.

Pinky comes there and calls her: Gopi, why are u standing here, go put medicine first otherwise it will pain more.

Gopi: Ji...Main wo.....kuchh nahi...bas ja hi rahi thi....ye phone...
(nothing......i was going but this phone)

Pinky: okkk.....u go I'll take the call.

Gopi leaves and gives the phone to Pinky.

Aham cuts the phone and gets another shock that Gopi is there in Shashank's house but he dint tell him anything. He tries to solve the puzzle that Isn't it possible that Gopi dint tell Shashank anything abt her past, abt her being married, abt her being married to ME, may be she did this just to leave me as a Bad Memory of her past Or did she tell him but he forced her to hide from me, is he taking revenge of the college rivalry now. how can he do this to me now and that too in this manner, does not he know Gopi is my life......but how can he know when I myself got to know it so late...still if he wants to take revenge then he should do this as a businessman, he should not do this as a Coward. What ever plan he has i hv to sort out the whole mystery.

Till now he was not in a mood to go to the engagement party but now he decides to go just to confirm why Gopi is there and why Shashank is hiding this.

Next day Aham is getting ready for the party, Koki comes and asks him abt it. Aham with some hope but with very low voice tells her that he going in some party and will be late. Does not look at her as he knows Koki will get the pain that he is going thru all these days and leaves.

In Shashank's house everything is looking at its best, everywhere there is happiness only except Gopi's heart. As she is still not able to forgot Aham's voice and off course her past, good or bad she cant even decide it now. As this is the time when she is recalling all her marriage memories. Pinky enters her room and gives her the Saree that she bought from the mall.

Gopi: Pinky Ben, ye aap kya ka rahi hai, ye to aapki saree hai.
(Pinky ben, what are u doing, this is ur saree...)

Pinky: are nahi gopi, ye to tumhare liye hai, us din maine ek jaise do saree kharidi thi. Kyunki maine na kuchh socha hai, par wo tabhi ho sakta hai agar tum mera saath do to.
(no Gopi...this is for u only, as that day I bought two similar sarees coz I hv a plan but it is possible only when u'll support me...)

Gopi: Par main....main kya kar sakti hu....mujhe to kuchh samajh nahi aa raha hai aap kya kahna chah rahi hai.
(but what can I do, I m not able to understand what u want me to do...)

Pinky: are kuchh nahi, bas shashank ka ek chhota sa test lena hai, ke mujhe kitna pyaar karta hai. Hum dono ek jaisi saree pahnenge and tab Shashank ko pareshan karege. Tum dekhna kitna maja aayega.
(nothing much,,,I want to take a small test of Shashank that how much he loves me. we both will wear the similar sarees and then we will tease Shashank, u just watch how much fun it will be ...)

Gopi first hesitates but then nods for yes, as she cant hurt Pinky who is getting the biggest happiness of her life, her love. Both gets ready and Pinky leaves but asks Gopi to hide from Shashank as it will spoil the plan. Gopi agrees and remains in the room. After some time Meena comes and asks Gopi to help her in doing some decoration at the Front door as its not upto the mark. First gopi think not to leave but then she cant disobey Meena's order. So she leaves w/o thinking abt Pinky's plan.

Gopi is standing at the front door and is instructing the servants to put the Flower lace properly.

Aham enters Shashank's home, still lost in his thoughts of how to get Gopi back and how to know real intentions of Shashank and bumps into someone at the entrance, other one is abt to fall but Aham catches her and has his arms around her waist. He is looking at her w/o blinking his eyes. He does not know what has happened suddenly until he sees a Very Familiar face in front of his eyes "A Face who resembles A Rose Petal but all dried" as she is none other than his Gopi. He can not believe that he has his Gopi in his Arms, for whom he was searching here and there just like a Majnu. His heart is beating so fast as it wants to come out of chest just by seeing her. And at first his eyes shine like A 10000 volt bulb then next moment turns into a fuse bulb when he does not see any happy expressions in Gopi's eyes.

On the other hand Gopi has her one hand on his shoulder while other on his chest. She is feeling his heart beats, and as she is still the same older Gopi who is Badly Terrified on this encounter with Aham, whose heart is also beating so fast like she has seen death in front of her eyes, but she cant remove her eyes off Aham as she still loves him a lot, wants to capture his Face in her eyes and heart, and wants to be in his arms but thats impossible. So she is sad.

Aham still not able to believe his fate so just to assure that he is not dreaming tries to touch her face with his right hand while Gopi still looking directly in his eyes with Lil bit of Fear, Lil bit of Happiness of being in Aham's arms, Lil bit of Hope may be she will get him now, lil bit of shy that his gaze is making her.

Both of them staring at each other with thousands of feelings in their heart and Aham abt to touch her face.

Wow sadhli.. Well going.. But how could u stop like this.. I was disappointed when i saw the end as i really enjoyed reading it.. Try to post the next part soon.. Looking forward to Ahem's reaction when he comes to know about the truth..
