I will soon start my own production house-Aashka Goradia

Money. That's what drives everyone in the final analysis, whether in the glamour world of acting or the hard grind of scripting and producing. Cashin' In sits down with TV celebs to know well they handle their financial matters, and tracks their spending patterns.

Aashka Goradia is a go-getter. At such a young age she has already made achievements to bank on. She says that being a Gujarati, business is in her blood.

Get a sneak peek into the financial matters of ambitious Aashka.

How important is money for you?
Money being a necessity is important for every one. It is very important for me.

Are you an impulsive buyer?
I am an impulsive person. I buy most of the things on an impulse.

What are the investments you have made?
I have made a lot of investments. Every one knows that I have a salon. I have invested in quite a few things like shares and mutual funds. I am soon going to start my own production house. I am a true Gujarati in this sense.

What is your most expensive purchase?
My car. I bought it six months ago for nineteen lakhs.

Do you feel financially secure?
I feel pretty secure financially. I have been around in the industry since past six years. By the grace of God, I was never out of work. If you notice you would know that as soon as my one show went off air I got another one. I have always got good work and that has made me financially secure.

Who handles your expenses?
I handle my own expenses. I take advice from my father in case of major expenses and investments.

What was your first salary? What you did with it?
My first salary was Rs. 200 per day for working as a sales executive. It was long ago. I handed it to my mother.

How much money do you carry every day?
I carry a safe amount of money.

Do you invest in the stock market?
As I said earlier I invest in stock market. I make most of the investments with the guidance of my father.

Any advice for investors?

Be careful and aware before making any investment.
