All Business Owners one Question?

My question to all of you , who have their own business or their parents/husbands run their own place:

My questions is how many times have you or the person running the business in your home taken a decision to appoint CEO or a major position in the business at the dinner table or have a discussion with members who are not a part of day to day operation.

I am asking this because, Tara saying make Ksitij the CEO is totally ignorant and how could Nahar back it up. If kshitij would be CEO what are Nahar and Brijesh and Kakasa.

Just because CEO is a big name and can be used and understood by general public, does not mean appointing one is that easy too. Who is the present CEO? Brijesh? Nahar? Kakasa? if yes, then why would they give theri position to Kshitij? If it is someone else, then why would and how would you fire that person?

IS CEO the only position fit for a person who just joined a few weeks ago and might not even have the knowledge.

They can always give him some power as suggested by Brijesh , but why make him their own boss . Imagine, employees choosing their Boss. HAhahahha

My husband runs his business and I have my own job. He tells me about his stuff that he feels I should know and I don't make him fire or hire any one.

THat is why I was asking other forum members who see other business owners at home, how is it iin your family.

If I will start working with my husband on daily basis, Yes I would like to have a say as to how the business will run,not otherwise.

Your thoughts now :

i am a part of our business.and tara was totally wrong on asking Brij to make KTJ CEO of one of his new company.

BTW KTJ will be only CEO of a new project, not the whole singh empire. So he won't be able to boss Nahar or brij.
But it was totally wrong of tara to sit there and express the opinion on stuff she does not know.

Saloni was so right about trying out KTJ before burdening him. nahar too was very wrong saying KTJ should be CEO. How much do they know him to give a control and future of the comapny.?

u r absolutely rite .

I dont even understand how brijesh just gave in to his wife's demand . I mean she doesnt do a thing except look beautiful in her ulta sari at home .

What about boardroom decisions , talking to seniors at office....just coz shitij proved himself smart in one deal doesnt pave the way for becoming CEO .

They had shown kakasa just appointing Urvashi MD on a whim at Urvashis suggestion . By a simple discussion at home. Same way , Tara 's whim appoints Shitij as CEO .

Is it a joke ? As u very rightly said , they fling around terms like CEO ,MD very casually without knowing the significance or legalities of it . For instance they show no legal advisor of a company . Anyone can walk in the Singh household , make them obliged by a favour and waltz his way to being their MD or CEO !

Most big businessmen have extremely beautiful wives at home but they know where to draw the line where boardroom decisions r concerned . They r perfectly capable of telling an otherwise pampered wife ' Go and play with ur diamonds sweetheart , leave this to me ".....especially when the wife is like Tara.....just at home.

And what the hell is ' Main sirf itna jaanti hu ki usne mere bachche ko bachaya ." What utter rubbish yaar . R company decisions made this way , based on personal experiences ? The foremost rule of Company efficiency is ' keep ur personal life at home !'

I agree, it is wrong to make professional decisions based on personal experiences.

People just don't hand out titles.

Also, one thing that has been bothering me is that ever since Kakasa and KJT entered, it has been portrayed as if Nahar and Brijesh were only the "caretakers" of the business while Kakasa was abroad.

For instance, Kakasa kept on saying that now he has someone to hand over the busines to in the future when he saw KJT working but what about Nahar and Brijesh.

Don't Nahar and Brijeshhave an equal right over the business?

Or am I just confused about business matters?

Frankly today's episode got me so mad 😡 . I understand it's a family business. And one may ask family members for their opinion but you don't play around in business. Who has the voting rights?
It should be Kakasa, Brijesh, Nahar and Dhree.

Nahar ofcourse is full of himself since he believes he and Saloni has rehabilitated Khitisj. So his arrogance is taking over.

I hope Ramas is right and it's only a project. I still don't understand what's Nahar role is in the business. I was confused when Kakasa had appointed Jiji co-MD which would have outrank Nahar in the business.

Also what's Brijesh role if he is always over-ruled. Who is the Chairman of the company?

He came up with a compromise and was over-ruled by everyone except Saloni.

I totally agree with all your comments except the one above -- "wife is like Tara....just at home" What are you trying to imply that ladies who stay at home are worthless. Have no brains to use. Contribute nothing to the family just 'coz they're not making money?

Well let me tell you being a home maker is not a 9-5 job but a full 24 x 7 one. A lady works more hard than any man on this earth. Life is tough if you work, but it's more tougher for a stay at home mom.

plz calm down as she did not mean that. I am stay home mom despite having post graduate degree and can pretty much handle anything.

That was not the question. question was that was Tara right in advising in business matter putting her personal feelings.

I agree with Nidhi. Suppose a police found Tara's son would she make him or her CEO of the company based on that.?

Tara has a right to say what she feels in business at the end of the day however appointing someone to a high post should be a board decision and one taken by people who run the company.
