Rajshri Vaidya in Ek Se Badhkar Ek

Rajshri Vaidya, the dusky actress who is creating waves in Zee TV's Saath Phere as Saloni, has bagged a new reality show. Rajshri will be seen on Zee's upcoming Ek Se Badhkar Ek with one of the singers from Sa Re Ga Ma.

Well we all know that she is a good dancer so will the show be dance based? "Yes, I'm doing a dance based reality show but can't reveal any details. I've signed a contract with the channel and production house so just waiting for an official moment," confirms Rajshri.

"We'll be soon starting with the rehearsals. I'm really looking forward to this event as it will be my first reality show," she avers.

She will also be seen in NDTV Imagine's Kudiyon Ka Hai Zamana, an event show soon to be aired on the channel. "I took up this Imagine show because I've a passion for dancing. This is the only similarity between me and Saloni," points out the actress.

But Saloni (her character on Saath Phere) is also a good singer… "Yes, but Rajshri is not. I'm not a professional singer but have a love for music too. Because of dancing I have a liking for music and singing," she adds.

Have you learnt dancing? "Well I'm not a professional dancer. Before joining Saat Phere I took basic lessons in Kathak but that lasted for 15 days only. Due to my shooting schedule I had to give up those classes," states Rajshri.

Rajshri has also worked with All India Radio as a journalist but never took it up as her career. "I'm happy today in this industry and really looking forward to woo my audience with my performance," she concludes.

Jasveer Kaur will also be participating in the show. "I've just started with the rehearsals. I don't have any idea who the singer will be opposite me and I'm also not so concerned. I know all the singers in the shows are good," says Jasveer.

With Rajshri getting ready to boogie and burn the stage with her sizzling performance, Jasveer has already started working out. Let's wait and watch who wins and who loses!
